Description
As i was packing away my camera after doing the last rose shot i noticed this big drop all by itself
He looked really lonely This reminds me of those moments when you know you have lots of friends to talk to and relay on , but you still feel alone --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

i couldnt agree more to what you wrote in the comment for this picture.....it does look that way but yet that droplet looks more superior and outstanding; stronger like it knows how to cover up it loneliness better than all those friends out there....
i undertstand the whole macro aspect and how it blurred out some of the background more than the usual but it still hasnt killed what you wanted to prove and besides, the balance of the photo is brilliant!

I like this... it does remind me of another one that had a reflection in the dew drop. Great color in this too!

I like this photo. It's got lots of strengths. The focus is obvious, that shiny found pearl of water. The red of the rose is brilliant and eye-catching, and one can tell it's a rose after concemplating the photo for a moment. I like that the drop is off to the side, and it's in perfect focus while the background is faded.
However, this is also a very common subject. It's not too original, roses or close-ups or waterdrops and things. They're always a pretty and interesting subject to capture, but it's just nothing new. That little extra 'something' isn't really here, so it makes this photo just 'good', not 'great'.

I KNOW it's a very common photo and everyone has done it ... But that is exactly why i did it ... I haven't tried/done ANYTHING like this before ... And plus i got myself a new camera 2 days before that and I was wanting to photograph everything and anything >.< And this was something I've ALWAYS wanted to try

It's not a bad thing to do common subjects, if they're done well. They're common for a reason, and every piece doesn't have to be a Mona Lisa Masterpiece XD . I like drawing silly and cliche doodles all the time too, and it's a great way to learn as well. It's just good to keep in mind, which apparently you already do, so izzawlgood
