'Bout time I made one of these (well, I've made one before, but it was like a year ago). Some people were asking about how I did style 2 and 3, so I was all like "yo yo mofoz, darkz in da hi-zouse, here fo' yo emoting needs foo'". Then I imploded for saying such a retarded sentence.Please ignore the typos. D: I KNOW THEY"RE THERE....TAUNTING ME O_O
BY THE WAY.... here's a tutorial on the very simple basics [link] if you don't know how to use programs or something

yes, i can finally start making emotes... but then give once i figure out how long and hard it is 
... nice tut though, very detailed, i like how use used that color gradient to show brightness.

So I suppose you coloured the base in manually, rather than a gradient tool? And i see now that manual anti-aliasing is the way to go. ( for something this small )
And I notice that the facial expressions are on top of the gloss in the bubble variation. That is why mine turn out looking funny; i was putting the faces below it. ( it makes it look like the face is inside the glassy body, which looks ok, but turns out hard to see in places )
And im not sure if this was intenstional, but the face on the Metalic one, is 1px higher than the rest.
Anyway, thank you for putting your time into this; it's helped me some, and im sure it'll help others.

yeah, I know it was 1 pixel higher D: my program was lagging horribly around then and I didn't want to waste ten minutes trying to fix it, since it's not that big of a deal.
