Beauty will always fade with time and give way to the darkness of night.I used the Tiffen FL-D filter to achieve the colors in this. It's actually meant to be used on a film camera when shooting under flourescent lights with daylight film, but it works wonders for nature shots when the sun is setting.
Edit - cropped out the bare spot in the lower corner.

simply wonderful. I love how subtle the direction of the light is. There's such an etheral feel here and it makes me happy. I also have to say that the little glimpses of purple in the background in the sky blow me away!

I just love this ....there were so many time in the past weeks that the sunset light was just magnificent, but unfortunately I live in a concrete blocks where my photograph nature couldn't lift up and play....thanks for sharing
