I always think of that now (thanks to All Star) and it actually bugs me on how lame that was lol. Because let's get real Batman... your cape? not exactly practical when fighting gangs/henchmen. One guy grabs that cape and you're going down lol.

Ah, the debate on capes. Look epic... or be practical.
I guess that's why the one designed for Batman Beyond didn't have one.
But let's face it, he's the godamn batman. Can you think of any grunt who would be brave enough to grab his cape? Besides, his let's him fly/glide.

Haha oh trust me, I love the cape. It's totally not practical in battle - but I'd be very upset if they ever removed it. Probably why I didn't see Beyond as being "BATMAN" because he just didn't have that imagery going for him. The dramatic flowing cape.
All I'm saying is the argument for the cape and the hood go hand in hand. (although there is no function for the hood because it's not going to allow you to glide) but still.

And I personally think the Robin is more creative than the Batman design. But still love the idea of using different shades of brown.

Also, I love that you gave Robin a cowl. I don't think domino mask are very effective at guarding your identity.

lol Here's an interesting fact. Robin got his name from "Roodin Hood" not the bird. I found that weird because most of the villains make bird puns at him. x-]

Yup. I've heard that too, which is why I like when Robin wears a cloak/hood. (but there are also stories I've heard/read where Dick is referred to as "his mother's little robin" due to his flying acrobats in the circus.
So I like the idea of mixing both Robin Hood and the bird.

I just like the idea of a brown Batman. Dark dark brownish/gray. Same with Robin. His cape is brown and his body is a grayish brown. I think it looks a lot more natural and animal-like
