The three scientists who stayed in the room gasped when the human woke, and Jumper tensed up before running around the room wildly, his tiny heart pounding. Verde growled and chased after him, trying to calm the bunny-boy down while Nik gulped and slowly flew over to the human. "Whoa...y-you're...ALIVE..." He whispered

Jack felt cold, and shifted a bit. He was confused when he saw the bird boy and tried to say something. His throat hurt so bad after trying. He coughed, and glared at Nik, as to say "Don't go nearer...". He really wanted the boy to be far from him, and he wanted to scare him a bit by glarring daggers at him, because it was fun, Jack wasn't mean but he liked to scare things

Nik ignored the glare, coming closer. "Easy there...you're okay..." He said softly, trying to get him to calm down. "Do you understand me?" He asked, wanting to know if the human understood English

He frowned and looked away, without moving his head because he couldn't. He wasn't so sure about the safety in there, and he couldn't move... He was a bit afraid

He flew forward, putting his hand on the human's cheek. "It's going to be alright...I promise..."

(Pfft! Well then I guess you don't wanna help meh with Ben and Zak. (That, and I'm guessing the other two on your end got buried... Well, three, cuz the other day I realized you still had the Creature Under the Bed one that I made..) But hey! This looks kinda like an interesting one~! ^^ So we can do this one ta pass the time!

Okay, well usually, I like my tinies really tiny. So six inches is a bit much for me... Buuut, maybe three or four inches...? 
Oh and the guys I'm gonna use I spent the last couple hours designing on a doll maker I found. Like I don't have enough ocs..
Dr. Erin Renalds, who was the head scientist of research on this creature, didn't even flinch when it started to stir. It was their goal to try and bring it to life after all. Plus, this enormous being was believed to be the only intact discovery of the mythical 'humans' that once roamed the Earth. There was much they could learn from it.
The second in charge, Dakota, unlike his superior, was quite surprised by the creatures movements, having taken a few steps back, a small gasp escaping his lips. He had doubted that the thing would ever come to life, it had frozen too long in his opinion. But nonetheless, seeing the how the head scientist didn't appear the slightest bit scared, Dakota tried his best to keep his cool. He at least wanted to do better than the newbie..
Now, the newbie, Kress, was at a loss for words. Eyes wide, mouth open, and petrified stiff. His small bunny companion trying to hide it's face into the boy's neck... Now, of course, this young scientist had to be on the negative side of thinking... And in his current mindset.. Not only had the beings movements come unexpectedly, but if it was like most large, pure breed animals, it might try to attack them... Destroying weeks of research... or worse.. kill them...

I groaned, opening my eyes weakly, frowning slightly. Where...was I...? What was this place? My vision was blurry at first, but as it cleared my eyes widened, and I started to panic. Where was I?! Where was everyone!? I shifted to try to sit up, but my muscles didn't want to respond, so I was stuck lying down. I opened my mouth after some difficulty, my jaw not wanting to move, and tried to call out, but nothing more than a squeak came. Closing my jaw again, I whimpered and tried once again to sit up, my arm twitching as my entire body felt of pins and needles. Having been encased in ice for five thousand four hundred and fifty-six years, I had no idea what was happening, how long I'd been asleep...or if my friends were anywhere nearby.
Turning my head to the side slowly, my muscles tensing every few twitches, I frowned to see a trio--a quartet, counting the bunny--of creatures standing not far away, and my hand twitched as it slowly slid toward them, but stopped halfway, and I whimpered again, my eyes watering up a bit. I didn't know what was going on, who these people were...and I was SCARED...I wanted to go home...

Dr. Renalds frowned a bit, seeing the struggle in the poor creature. It was no doubt having trouble trying to figure out what was going on. When the giant being slowly turned it's head and noticed them, Dakota stiffened while Kress held his breath. Yet again, Dr. Renalds didn't react to this, more focused on the creatures stiff movements, it's weak squeaks and whimpers, the bits of water starting to form around it's eyes.. It almost seemed pathetic, to see such a large creature.. in such helpless state..
After severely moments of silence, the red-haired male took a few steps toward the giant, surprising the other two boys. Was he crazy?! That thing almost tried to grab them after all! But the Doctor didn't seem to care about that. His eyes looking directly at the creature's larger ones, then he cleared his throat. "Greetings.. My name is Doctor Erin Renalds" He began, placing a hand to his chest and bowing his head a bit when he'd said his name. "I understand that you're frightened, so are the others that were in this room. But believe me, as long as you don't harm my co-workers, we won't harm you. Then we can get this all sorted out... Do you understand..?"

My eyes widened a bit, seeing one of the men walk toward me, my heart pounding in my chest. I wanted to shift away, but didn't have the strength to. I had no idea how pathetic I must look right now...such a giant to them...unable to even sit up...I blinked slowly, a couple tears leaking out before I opened my eyes again, trying to calm myself as I let out a low whine, only able to make animalistic sounds at the moment, so no talking...just things like purrs, squeaks, whines, whimpers, and the like...my hand slowly returned to my side as I listened to the man, biting my lip, my blue eyes wide as I watched him. Good news was...I understood him...I nodded slowly when he asked if I understood, smiling softly, exposing large teeth that were flat

“Wonderful” Dr. Renalds replied, returning the smile.
Both Dakota and Kress were surprised when the giant nodded his understanding to Dr. Renalds. And while Kress flinched, eyes growing wide at the sight of the being's large canines, Dakota hurried over to his superior. "Sir... H-how'd you do that...?" He asked.
"Do what?" Dr. Renalds responded, looking over towards his co-worker. "Talk to the creature...? Simple, I opened my mouth, and spoke words. Honestly, the only difference he has to us is the lack of animalistic features and increased size." He rolled his eyes a bit before looking back towards the titan-sized boy. "My apologize, some of us don't seem to have the proper manners I would have assumed they had." Dr. Renalds sighed. "Anyway, this here is my second-in-command assistant, Dakota."
The wolf-like boy folded his arms over his chest when the Doc spoke of his lack of manners, nervously eyeing the creature as he was introduced. "Uh, yeah... Hi..."
The head scientist then gestured a hand towards the other boy further back. "And that young man over there is Kress. The rabbit with him is named Chett. They're new, so their much more easily spooked by the unknown... But as long as we can keep to our arrangement, I’m sure they’ll warm up to you eventually…” He then paused a moment to look towards the young boy he’d just introduced. “Kress, would you be so kind as to get the projector and alphabet slab? (I forget what the thing is called, but hopefully you’ll get what I mean... eventually..)”
“Gh! O-oh um... S-sure Doc...” Kress jumped a bit, still nervously looking at the large creature, before quickly setting off to grab what was requested.
Dr. Renalds smiled, returning his gaze to the giant. “So, do you have a name we can refer you as?” He asked. "I'd hate to have to continue labeling you as 'the creature' and petty titles like that. If you can understand what we’re saying, you should be able to understand our letter system... And hopefully speak as well, but I would suggest not trying that yet.”
Dakota huffed, “Ch, yeah... The ice probably messed up your vocal chords pretty bad considering you were in there for four-thousa—“
Dr. Renalds quickly turned to look at Dakota, wings ruffling up slightly as he glared at the teen and hissed for him to shut up. Then after a moment, he tried readjusting his wings, chuckling awkwardly as he looked back over at the other boy. “Heh heh, pay no mind to him. Let’s just keep to the simply questions before someone decides to make matters worse...” He sounded a bit peeved off towards the end, his eyes glancing over towards Dakota to show that he wasn’t very happy with him for that slip up...
(Okay, I know you didn’t send anything back ta let me know if I needed to fix anything, but I did it anyway. The edit comment option was gone so I had to send it as another comment... Soooo... Yeah... It’s longer than before now...

I purred slightly when he smiled back, glad to seem that everything was okay so far. My eyes darted over to Kress when he flinched, frowning slightly in confusion as my attention then turned to the man who ran up to the first, blinking in confusion. How did he do what?
The doctor had the same question, and I snorted when he answered his own question--which meant he answered mine as well. I let out a sound of approval when he spoke of me being like them except for size and animalistic parts, still smiling, glad at least SOMEONE understood. I nodded when the doctor spoke, and grunted as I looked over to Dakota, my eyes narrowing a bit before I snorted again, rolling my eyes.
When attention was called to Kress, I noticed how scared he was and smiled weakly, cooing and trying to reassure him I meant him no harm. I frowned, confused a moment. What was an alphabet slab? Was it anything like writing on a piece of paper or something?
When the boy had gone, my gaze darted around the room more, focusing on the doctor again when he spoke, nodding. I DID have a name...I remembered it...but...it was ALL I remembered...everything else was a blank space. MY attention shifted over to Dakota when he spoke, frowning. Was...he going to say four thousand something? But what? And...I was in ICE? When? I hissed slightly at the doctor when he stopped the teen from continuing. I wanted to know! But...I guess I could know later...eventually...for now, slow and simple...

(XD Soooory. But seeing as it was two days ago since I sent that reply with no reply back I figured it needed more details to make it easier to reply to.)
As the boy looked around the room for a moment, he would have been able to see a few large computer monitors, clipboards (that the other scientists that were in here dropped when they ran), and other scientific equipment. The ceiling was more than likely only 9 inches above his head. So, once the boy regained mobility, there wouldn't be to much room to sit up.. One step at a time though...
Dr. Renalds was glad to see the boy nod in regards to having a name. It was better than the name/label on his clipboard: Subject A 38-23. He did, however, take a small step back when the boy hissed at him. And judging by his reaction, the doctor could guess what he did wrong to slightly aggravate him. Giving the giant an apologetic smile, he said, "My apologize, dear boy. I just don't want to overwhelm you with too much information all at once."
A minute or so past before Kress returned, holding a small cube in his hand, Chett now resting on top of his head. He was still a bit far from the other two co-workers, but after closing his eyes a moment and taking a deep breath, he opened his eyes again and nervously made his way over to them, holding the cube out to Dr. Renalds. "Here you go, sir.." He said, his voice quiet, almost a whisper.
"Outstanding!" Dr. Renalds exclaimed, grinning once again as he took the cube from the boy. "And the Alphabet Slab?"
"It's already inside." Kress replied.
"Perfect~!" The doctor said, pushing a button on top of the cube. A small flash of light emitted out of the cube until a large screen formed above it and the three scientist. On the screen appeared the 26 letters of the alphabet. The head scientist then looked over at the giant, "Alright, I believe this would be the letter system you're accustomed to. We've actually started adding to it, but that's for another time. Now..." He placed a finger on the side of the cube, pressing a small button there that turned red when pressed. As the button turned red, on the screen, the letter 'A' changed to match the same color. He then continued to explain.. "Each time I press this button, it'll switch to the next letter. As I go along, either nod, grunt or whatever you'd like and I'll right it down. It would take to long to write full on sentences, so we'll need to use a slightly different tactic. For now though it'll help to simply spell out your name. Are you ready?"

I was confused as I looked around the room. It seemed I was in a lab of some kind...but...I wasn't seriously big and scary enough to have made other scientists flee...was I? I snorted softly, rolling my eyes a bit, looking at the ceiling. Less than a foot over my head...so this would be interesting...how would I even get out of here to stretch? Actually...how'd they even bring me IN here?
I noticed the doctor's small step back, rolling my eyes slightly. Honestly, how did he THINK I'd react? He was forcing someone to hold back information...about what had happened...I wanted to KNOW...I growled slightly when he apologized, but then sighed, realizing it would be best not to ask about it...besides...he was right, I'd be overwhelmed with all the information in one day...my head was hurting just NOW, being here with them...trying to figure this out on my own.
I brightened when Kress came back, smiling, but I wondered what cube be was holding. That didn't look like anything I'd seen before...I smirked when the doctor said 'outstanding'. He sure got excited about things quick...I flinched slightly when the flash of light came out, blinking as I recognized the alphabet, smiling. I looked at the doctor, nodding before looking at the screen when the letter 'A' turned red, and I nodded at his explanation, then smiled and grunted to show I understood and that I was ready to begin. ANYTHING for them to know my name...

(Gonna skip the stuff about the lab~ Clears up A LOOOOOT of text. Plus, the doc can answer those questions and stuff later~!)
"Great! Now let's get started. The sooner the better after all~" Dr. Renalds said. "Alright, so the first letter of your name... A... B... C... D... E..." He made sure to say the letters slow, waiting enough time to be able to have the boy respond to each one.
Meanwhile, Dakota seemed to know that this was going to take awhile so he wandered off to heck up on some of the lab's equipments. Kress, having nothing to do, awkwardly sat himself down on the ground, his legs spread out as he lifted Chett from atop his head and setting him down between his legs.The bunny's nose twitched and Kress smiled, petting the small animal's head lovingly.

While I listened to the doctor, I looked around the lab again, amused to see Kress sitting in the corner and petting the animal's head. Right about now, I wished I was closer to their size...so none of them would be scared of me...I snapped out of it when I heard the letter 'E', purring and nodding to show that letter was in my name, feeling excited. But maybe it would've been better and faster if we just got all the letters of my name out-of-order and tried to unscramble them? So he wouldn't have to read through the alphabet five times...

Dr. Renalds smiled, placing the cube on his head for a moment as he shifted his grip on his clipboard, grabbed a pencil from beside his ear and wrote the letter down. He then paused a moment, glancing up at his head before he shrugged. "Eh, I'll just leave it up there so I don't have to keep shifting hands." He said, reaching up and pressing the side button twice, setting it back to the letter 'A' "Right so, second letter... A... B... C..." (and so on, we can just skip through this part fast if you want to~)

The second time, I smiled, and squeaked at 'T'. The same thing happened for 'H', 'A', and 'N', until finally I was finished, the name 'Ethan' spelled on his clip board, then I stopped, looking at him with wide eyes as I purred, then shifted, finding the movement easier than before, looking up at the ceiling and sighing. I still couldn't sit up...not with that in the way...

The doctor brightened as he finished writing down the last letter, understanding from the subtle cues that that was his whole name. He then reached up and picked up the projector and shut it down, looking up at the boy and noticed Ethan staring up at the ceiling and sighing. The doc frowned a bit, figuring he could guess the reason. He sighed as well and stuck the pencil back up beside his ear. "You want to sit up don't you...?" He asked. "I knew even before we even started defrosting you that the ceiling would be a problem... Tsk, but I wasn't in charge of the construction. A different team brought you here and built the lab around you... I do apologize for the inconvenience, Ethan... But hopefully I can come up with a solution that will help resolve this issue.."

I looked back to the doctor when he spoke, then snorted and rolled my eyes, my expression clearly saying 'What IDIOT thought of that?' I huffed, then looked around the room again, my back starting to get sore. I really wanted nothing more than to sit up...especially now when I knew I couldn't...

Dr. Renalds simply shrugged as he read Ethan's facial expression, not having an answer for him. He could see the discomfort in the boy's face and frowned, not quite sure what he could do to allow the boy to stretch himself out... "Alright, let's see..." He muttered to himself. "We're in a large room... Not tall enough for the boy to stand up... And with all the expensive and valuable equipment lying around, he doesn't have room to stretch out either... Maybe if we could clear the room out, he could stretch out a bit... Or break through the ceiling... With the equipment out of the way, we wouldn't have to worry about too much damage aside from the building itself... But I can pay for that if I have to... This wouldn't be the first time I destroyed private property..."
The scientist then turned to locate Dakota, who seemed to not have returned yet. So he went with second best. "Kress." He called, the boy immediately looking up, in the middle of feeding the rabbit chopped up carrot pieces.
"Um.. Y-yes, sir?" He replied.
"Do we still have those transporter cubes?" Dr. Renalds asked. "The ones that we used to bring this equipment in.."
"Uh... I-I believe their in the storage room." Kress responded. "I-I could go look i-if you'd like..."
"Please do. Thank you dear boy." He said as the blue-haired boy finished feeding his friend, standing up and heading out of the room, the bunny bouncing happily after him.

Cold. That was the first coherent thought in Luther's mind. So cold, was the second. Slowly, the teen forced his eyelids to open. They were stiff. So was everything else, for that matter. It seemed to be too much effort to move, so Luther didn't. He just stared up at the white ceiling, wondering why it was the wrong color. The ceiling above his bed was blue... and it should have been closer, too, since he slept on a top bunk. A moment later, Luther realized that he didn't have his blanket. That must be why I'm so cold, he thought.

The one scientist that had remained in the room when the others noticed the human's eyelids opening paced around silently, frowning as he came closer to the human slowly. It was...alive? It'd spent more than three THOUSAND years in the ice...how could it be alive...? He kept a good ten feet in his species' measurements away from the human, which was probably a few inches to the giant, his foot in a puddle of water the ice that had melted off the giant had created, waiting for either the human to try to sit up, or to look around, not wanting to startle him

Luther shivered. That made everything ache. He groaned. That made his throat ache, so he stopped. Closing his eyes again, Luther tried to think. What had happened? Unfortunately, he had no idea. Turning his head to the side a little, which hurt, he tried to take in his surroundings. Hm... confusing sciencey looking things. Well, that was no help. He didn't see the scientist himself, having turned the wrong direction.

Nik smirked softly, his wings unfurling as he flapped them to get airborne, flying toward the human's face, curiosity now taking hold. Humans must be an amazing species to survive that long in ice and actually live afterwards...he'd been DEEP in the ice when they found him...he hovered at the corner of the human's eyesight, wondering if the human could smell him or anything. He didn't LOOK like he'd have a sharp sense of smell...or hearing...or sight...what good WERE humans? How had they lived as long as they did?

Luther continued to stare at the odd equipment until something told him that there was something nearby. Slowly, agonizingly, he turned his head again, and his eyes widened. There... there was a bird-like person flying above his head! Luther gaped. He tried to say something, but it hurt too much to try, and he couldn't make the sounds he wanted anyway, so he shut up again.

Nik gasped slightly, and flew up higher when the human slowly turned his head to face him. Nik frowned a bit. How had he done that? Had he sensed him, perhaps? Slowly, Nik allowed himself to go closer to the human's face, eyes wide. "I can't believe it...you're actually ALIVE..." He breathed softly, shaking his head in disbelief. "...how'd you survive the ice...?"

Ice? Luther was confused. What ice? Why did this bird person expect him to be dead? He couldn't quite manage to question him, however. Slowly, Luther shrugged. It was awkward, due to his being lying down, and because something was obstructing his shoulders' path. It was ice crystals, but Luther didn't know that at the time. Shrugging also hurt. Everything seemed to. He was so stiff and sore all over...

Nik slowly flew downwards, landing on the human's chest and placing a hand on the moving surface. "...heart beat seems good..." He mumbled to himself, eyes narrowed before he smiled, flying back up to the human's face, landing on his nose. "Wow, humans sure are cool~ I didn't think you'd actually wake up...you were in that ice for like three thousand years..."

Luther crossed his eyes trying to keep the bird in sight. He lifted a hand, though that hurt, and brought it up behind the creature on his nose with the intent of catching him.

Nik sensed movement behind him and quickly started to fly up, hoping not to get caught. "Hey, watch the wings! It takes hours to clean each feather individually...I don't wanna be sitting here until next Sunday cleaning them..."

However, Luther just managed to snag him by the ankle. He was startled that he'd actually succeeded, and almost let go. Almost. Instead, he slowly pulled Nik down again.
