"How about I just turn off the light, it's getting a bit hot at night and so I probably won't be wearing shirts...is that okay?" I mean if he wasn't comfortable I could put it back on but...with summer approaching if I didn't turn on the air then the heat would be a bit much...and he was always cold...or was he? "Most of the time..." Chett admitted with a blush, looking away a bit. "There are some times I'm fine, but usually I'm cold..."

"Alright...we'll see what happens." That water couldn't be that warm anymore and with that being said I use my left hand to cup Chett, letting the water drain away. Then the other grabs a face cloth. Putting the two together I walk out of the bathroom while gently drying off Chett and walking to my bedroom. Laying him in the middle of theΒ bed in front of me while I sit opposite of him purposely hanging off the side. "Well...do you know how to make clothes?" If he didn't I was pretty sure I knew someone who could make something warmer for him.

Chett shook his head a bit. "No...well, I took a clothing class once, but I dropped out...it wasn't as fun as I thought it wold be...lately, the only thing I've been worrying about is survival...and trying to find someone to help me..."

Okay so might need to give him a call, he owes me a favor anyway..."Chett...how old are you exactly and what are you focusing on now that you have both those things? Do you think you might try and find a way back to normal?" That was a good question, now that he'd gotten those key things...where did he go from here? This was real life not some storybook that's coming to an end.

Chett looked down, shaking his head. "I...I think this is incurable...if it was from the drug I tested...it should've worn off by now...and it hasn't...as for my age...I'm nineteen..." He said, looking at you. "...how old are you?"

"I'm 22, legally old enough to drink" I tease "But seriously though where do you go from here? You can obviously stay here with me but being cooped up in an apartment all day really isn't fun...or even right of me to do to you."

Chett smirked. "Cooped up? Um...have you SEEN my size? This place is plenty big enough..."

"Not the point here, the point is you can't stay locked inside my apartment all day. So what are you going to do? You could come to my classes but, that wouldn't be very interesting...I just don't know" There had to be something

"So you want me to take you to school, what year would you be considered as far as education? I mean is it that of an 8th grader or could you go on to college? Can you give me a rating of some sort?"

"...elementary..." He said softly, looking down with his shoulders slumping. "...we were learning how to divide and multiply..."

"Wait...you don't know basic math...that's horrible...no one tried to help you through the years?" Seeing his shoulders slump makes me feel horrible except I don't know how to help him... "Hey...if you want...I can give you lessons, just don't fret. How about reading, I bet you're awesome at reading" I use a finger to lift his chin and smile at him with warmth.

"...Okay we can start lessons tomorrow if you're up for it...let's just...go for a walk? Does that sound good? You can ask me anything that's been on your mind because I've already asked you your fill for the day...or would you rather sleep, you seem like you haven't gotten much rest." Duh, he hasn't

Chett smiled weakly. "Nah, a walk sounds good...I can sleep later..." He said with a yawn...yeah, bad timing on his part...

If we go for a walk he's going to fall asleep "I doubt you'd last the entire time and I wouldn't have anywhere to put you while asleep...You know what...yes I do, let's go" Getting up I hold my hand out for Chett to climb on.

"...You are comfortable being seen by others, right?" I planned on going to the park but if he did have a problem with it, I might want to choose the back way to a more secluded location.

"Well...i-if you know them...if not...I'd rather not be seen..." He stammered, looking down a bit

"Hey" lifting his petite form to my eyes, I frown "You don't need to look so sad every time something makes you nervous or scared or anything." I'd seen him look away or frown much more often than smile and that bothered me to no end, I would have to try and put an end to that.

He looked up briefly, biting his lip nervously. "A-alright...but...I...I can't help it...it's just...my natural reflexes..."

"Well, just try to break it please...I don't like to feel like I'm intimidating" Well on the College Campus that's what I do and I don't mind but...when it's someone the size of one of your fingers then you feel...guilty.

"No need to apologize" I said before walking to the front door and stopping. It was getting late and it was already kind of cold earlier...I grabbed a scarf with one hand and set Chett on the table while wrapping it snuggly around my neck. "Do you think if I put you in one of the layers, it'd be secure and safe enough for you to stay and not really be noticed?" That was the real purpose of the scarf anyway...

He smiled and nodded happily. "Sure~ Sounds like fun~" He said, seeming excited about the idea

Picking him up, I gently place him on the very inside of the scarf, up against my neck. I make sure it's wrapped and snug before walking out and heading downstairs "This good for you?"

Chett smiled, closing his eyes briefly and enjoying the warmth and closeness...something he'd always wanted but had never gotten...that's why he had the want to live as close to you as possible, even INSIDE you if you'd let him..."This is perfect...thank you..." He said softly, opening his eyes again

It was moments such as these that I strived for in life whether I was the one who was content or another, it was all the same in my eyes. I chuckle "I guess we'll have to do things like this more often huh?" It was then that a thought occurred to me...did he have any siblings...weren't those the people who should really be there for moments like this, loved ones? However, in the end I held my tongue, there was no reason to ruin the moment for anybody.

Chett, in truth, didn't have any known siblings...he'd always wanted them, but...he never did get the chance...before he ran away, unable to take the pain of abuse anymore. He nodded. "Yeah, definitely~" He chirped, then snuggled against you

I take a deep breath of the cold air and blow it out "Hey Vic, was there anything you wanted to ask me? Anything at all?" I wanted him to know a little about me, other than what he'd know from his stalking.

He smiled a bit. "Um...what's your favorite food? Favorite color, favorite season...oh! Favorite holiday~ Well...I...I want to know a lot about you...you can't learn everything from just watching someone..."

"I never would've guessed you wanted to know anything...Okay Favorite food is...Chimichongas, color...yellow and brown because those two colors deserve love to! Holiday...I don't know, I don't think I have one. I guess you can't learn everything about someone by simply watching" Never thought of that.

"Yeah I guess we do go together like dirt and grass, huh it's a cute idea" I smile and push my hand against my neck in a form of an awkward hug but I think the meaning got through well enough.

"Me too" We'd arrived at the park and even if I'd never planned on stopping, it brought back old memories and before I knew it I was sitting on the swing set, old but still sturdy enough to support me. "Hold on Chett, let me adjust you so that there's no chance of you getting injured" I undid the scarf from around my neck and placed Chett in my lap, hurrying to readjust the scarf so that he wasn't cold for long before tucking him in again, this time right in front of my adam's apple. "Is thisΒ okay or are you uncomfortable?"

Chett shivered a bit when he had to adjust the scarf, but soon Chett was relaxed and warm in front of your Adam's apple. He smiled and leaned lightly against it. "This is fine, thank you..."

With him right there I felt more cautious, I didn't want to swallow or turn my head or anything but if he was fine then I would leave him there. I lightly push of from the ground and begin to sway back and forth, kicking myΒ legs in and out for momentum. "When was the last time you were on a swing?"

Chett closed his eyes, relaxing. "Hmm...eleven years ago...I was seven or eight..."

"That long huh... What would you say your favorite part of the playground was?" Funny how the first thing I go to now is the swing-set but when I was younger I was always that kid who got hit and knocked to the ground standing in front of them...I never did learn my lesson.

He thought a moment, then shrugged. "I dunno...I never went to a playground once...but...I remember this one park I went to...it had pine trees all around...and a slide playset...me and my friends would always have pine cone wars, with them using the little plastic tunnel at the edge of the park and us using the slide and everything else..."

It was at that moment right there that I'd felt myself get angered, he had basically gotten ripped of his childhood and nothing urked me more than that! "How often did you do that? What else did you do when you were with friends" If I knew those scientists...

Chett thought a bit, frowning. "Um...once a month or so? We'd also just...walk...hang out...just...do things friends did..."

"That's nice..." Afterwards I got quiet, something I did when I was thinking or angered and trying to calm myself.
