Walter jolted a bit at seeing that the 'thing' in his mouth had really been a tiny boy. "What in tarnation?!" Walter exclaimed, surprised. Then suddenly, at hearing the small boy's plea, he frowned a bit, "Woah, woah, woah. Hey. Easy lil feller~ I ain't gunna kill'ya." He said, softening his voice a bit --or at least, trying too--, attempting to calm down the small human.

He snuffled, looking up at Walter with wide eyes. "Y-you're...not...?"

"Course not!" Walter replied, "I ain't got no reason too. 'side from you bein' may mouth, 'xcept I ain't mad 'bout that. No siree, it takes a LOT moe ta tick me off... But em, pardon me fer askin', but wut exactly were ya doin in mah mouth lil guy?"

He blushed, looking down. "I...I was looking for...a w-warm place to sleep...and...live..." He admitted, his blush getting deeper as he spoke

Walter blinked surprised, raising a brow a bit as he replied. "Uuuh... Come again?" He asked, not quite sure if he'd heard the boy correctly.. Although, with his heightened hearing, it was more then likely he did... But the tiny's answer had been so unordinary, that the young werefox didn't want to believe that to be his true response.

He looked down, biting his lip nervously. "I-if you want...I...I can just leave..." He said, not wanting to repeat himself...it was too embarrassing...

"Oh nononono, I-it's fine. You don' have ta leave... I-it just... wasn' quite the answer I was expectin'." Walter admitted. "Plus, it's a fairly dangerous place ta want ta live in with that lil size a yers mister. Especially aroun' meh. Cuz I don' know if ya noticed, but mah teeth are a bit shaper than average hum'n's." He said, lifting the corner of his upper lip slightly as he pointed to his fangs with his free hand, exposing his large, sharp canines.

He nodded. "I...I noticed...but...you seem nice enough...and...being small, I-I'm a lot tougher than most people think..."

"Hmm... Well I certainly hope so. Cuz sho' I'm a pretty nice guy an' all... It's just at nigh' when it can sometimes accidentally get a bit... hairy..." Walter replied, thinking over the few times where his wolf instincts took over, sometimes affecting him or the people around him in those instances, other times occurring while in his human form, but it was more common --though still not all too often-- for him to hit those problems at night...

He smiled softly. "I...I can handle it...please, let me stay...I...I have nowhere else to go..."

Walter frowned a it, contemplating it in his head. Then after a few minutes, he sighed, "Well... If yer sure.... Ooohh..... Alrigh' then.. You can stay." He replied, smiling warmly at the small boy.

He smiled a bit. "Thank you~!" He said, relieved the man agreed

Walter chuckled a bit, "Don' mention it~!" He replied. "Naow, since I jus' got up an' I'm starvin'. Do ya need anythin' ta eat or drink while I go fetch somethin' fer mahself?"

He opened his mouth to say no, then his stomach growled loudly and he blushed

Walter chuckled, "Haha, I guess I'll be takin' that as a yes." He said, getting up from the couch and heading towards the kitchen. "Wut do you wanna eat?" He asked the small boy once he made it over to the kitchen and opened up his refrigerator.

He blushed, then looked up at Walter. "I-I'll eat anything, really...whatever you feel like giving me...I'm not picky..." He said softly

"Ah well if yer not in tha mood fer anythin' in particular... Hmm... How's about some baked chicken? A bit a take home leftovers from my visit to my ma's, but after ya warm it up, it'll taste de-licious guaranteed!"

Walter smiled, nodding his, "Alrighty then~!" He said, pulling out a strip of baked chicken, and warming it up in the microwave. Once it was done, he took it out of the microwave, pulled off a small piece of it and handed it to the small boy. "Here ya go~"

Walter smiled, "No problemo lil man~" He replied, taking a rather large bite into his piece of chicken. After chewing it down and swallowing it, he suddenly realized something. "Say, I don' believe I ever got yer name~" he said, taking another bite of chicken.

The boy smiled softly, pausing in eating the chicken to answer. "My name is Chett...I...haven't gotten your name yet either, sir..."

Walter nodded. "Nice ta meetcha Chett." The teen replied after he swallowed his food. "M'name's Walter T. Canine, but you can jus' call meh Walter~"

He smiled, nodding. "Alright~ Is your real name Canine, or is it because of your teeth??"

"M' last name?" Walter questioned. "Well... Since yer goin' be stayin' here... Normally I'd tell people it's cuz mah teeth. But no, tha's mah real name." He replied with a nod.

"Heh, yeah... convienient..." Walter replied with a sheepish chuckle. "Anyway, ya almost done eatin'?" He asked.

I reach in and pull the thing out gently, trying to have a grip on the creature without hurting it. "What the hell?"
