Nakia blinked as she took notice of the boy, going to turn on an overhead light that hanged from the attic ceiling before she slowly and cautiously went to approach the other. "Huh?...Who are you?....How'd you get up here?" she asked slowly as she came closer, the wooden floor creaking under her bare feet.

He whimpered, scooting back a bit. "I-I came in t-t-through the w-window...don't h-hurt me..." He said, looking down and shivering

She frowned at this little concerned seeing how much the little kid was shaking and such, even though she should have been a little upset that he somehow got into her house. "...I'm not going to hurt you...i was just curious...are you okay?" the red head asked as she came closer, and crouching down to be on more his level. Hoping to not look so scary to the young looking boy.

He sniffled. "I...I...I n-need a p-place to hide...p-please..."

"Hide?....Why? What's the matter?" Nakia asked, before tempted to try and comfort him went to reach out to touch his shoulder. Was he a run away from somewhere she wondered? Like from kidnappers, neglect? or an abuser? Since his clothes looked a bit out of shape.

He sniffled. "B-bad men...t-they want to k-kill me...p-please...I h-have nowhere e-else to go..."

"Huh? Shh....shhh....calm down..." she moved closer to go gently stroke his back. "What was that?.....Who wants to kill you?" she asked while biting her lip lightly. Was there really such bad people out here, in this normally peaceful looking neighborhood? "...Do....you want me to call the police?" she asked wondering if they could help.

He shook his head. "N-n-no...t-they can't help...p-please...t-they took m-me from my home...t-threatened me w-with guns...I...I can't go back out there! I...I can't..." He sobbed, starting to cry

Nakia frowned at this, especially at the mention of guns. "G-guns?.....Are you sure you don't want me to call anyone?" she asked, leaving his side briefly to nervously look out the window he must have come in, glancing around at the streets below looking for anything suspicious, making sure that the window was securely locked as well.

He whimpered, shaking his head. "N-no...please..." Outside, the world seemed normal with a black van passing by without slowing or stopping

She was just about to head back to the boys side after making sure the window was good and secure. Probably would the the rest later once she had the boy settled. But just as she was moving away from the window did she spy the black van that was driving by, making her duck to one of the windows sides before secretly watching it. "......Those....people...wouldn't happen to own a black van would...they?" she asked the boy in a hushed voice

"Ah..." she looked back and forth between the window and boy. "Ahh...i'll help you...now calm down...don't worry..."

Once checking out the window once more she slowly went over to the boy's side to sit next to him. "it's okay.." she said as she tried to sooth the child.

She stared at the child before softly smiled and gently patted his head. "Promise..."

He giggled a bit, smiling, his hair feeling real, but at the same time...there was SOMETHING off about him...

Nakia tilted her head curiously as she couldn't help but notice something about his hair felt different then normal...but maybe it was just her imagination? And it was just because maybe he hadn't washed his hair? But she soon shook these thoughts off as she smiled back at him. "So.....what's your name? You can call me Nakia."

He looked down. "I...I don't have a name..." He lied. He DID have a name...but it was a model number...Model 901...

"Huh? You don't?" Nakia asked in surprise to learn the boy didn't have a name. Was he with these bad people for so long that he was never given a name? Or forgotten it? She wondered. She then looked down to stare at the attic floor...which could use a good sweeping with all the dust...when she suddenly looked back over to the boy as she thought of something.
"Why don't we give you a name then?"

Nakia smiled upon seeing how happy the boy got before nodded. "Sure, why not. Everyone deserves a name....now lets see..." she started trying to come up with a good name.
