As Nakia thought it over, wanting to find a nice suitable name for the boy that suited him well. "Hmmmm.....how bout...Caleb?" she asked upon the name coming to her.

He brightened a bit, then smiled. "Alright~"

Nakia brightened as well happy to have found a good name for him. "Hehe sounds good," she said before glancing back towards the window. "Now...i think they passed by for now...i think we could go downstairs if you want," she suggested, thinking she hadn't heard the van in a while and that way they didn't have to hang out here in the attic the whole time. Besides maybe the boy was hungry? From being on the run from those people she figured.

He nodded. "O-okay..." He said softly

Nakia smiled lightly before going to get up and pull up the kid on to his feet. "Hmm okay lets go then."

She smiled as well before nodding and going to lead the boy over to the attic stairs so that they could head down.

As they made their way down Nakia busied herself a little going to close some windows and make sure they were locked just for a precaution while the people that were after Caleb were out there. "There we go...now are you hungry for anything?" the girl asked as she went to turn to face the child.

Caleb bit his lip nervously. "Um...w-what do you have...?"

"Hmm.." Nakia went to go into the kitchen to look into her fridge and cupboards. "...well i got some leftover macaroni in here," she said as she went to take it out and planning to go reheat it. Thinking something tasty would put Caleb's mind at ease.

"...what's macaroni?" He asked, confused

"Hmm?" as she went to place the macaroni into the microwave, and started pressing a few buttons she blinked as she looked back over to the boy. Frowning a couple seconds. The place he must have stayed at before must have really lacked food like this...made her wonder if they fed him much at all.
She then went to smile not wanting to make him worry too much. "Oh macaroni is a type of pasta, there's even cheese added to it so i promise it'll be really good."

Nakia smiled some more, "Trust me it'll be really yummy. You want to go sit at the table?" she asked while gesturing towards the piece of furniture in the room.

He nodded, going to the table and sitting on one of the chairs

She watched him for a moment before hearing the sound of a beep turned to face the microwave again to get the food out.

He smiled, able to smell the food when she opened the microwave

Seeing Caleb smile Nakia couldn't help but smile too as she got the food out, and went to separate the macaroni and cheese into two bowls, making sure to add a fork to each as she went to go place it before him. "Here you go, all yours."

He reached forward, now nervous as he put some on the fork and lifted it to his mouth, eyes widening before he smiled. "It's good~!"

As she plopped down in chair at the table to eat some of hers as well, she waited a moment to see what he thought of it. Though seeing that happy look didn't take long to figure out that he liked it making her grin. "Glad you like it, and there's plenty i think if you ever want seconds" she letted him know as she went to start eatting as well.

He nodded and kept eating, relaxing a bit when the warm food was in his 'stomach'

Nakia had yet to realized how different her little house guest was yet. Since he looked so human and though she had felt his 'hair' she hadn't thought of it as any different. So she happily went to eat her bowl of macaroni.

He smiled, looking over to her. "Thank you for helping me..."

She glanced up as she heard him and gave him a cheerful look. "Oh it's no problem. I wanted to help."

He smiled. "Alright~"

She nodded. "Hm! And umm...i guess while you are here you can have to guest bedroom, i'll show you where it is after we eat."

"Oh it's no problem. You're very welcome Caleb," Nakia said happily as she went to reach other and ruffle his hair a little.

He giggled a bit, smiling, his hair still feeling off

She still ended up feeling a little puzzled by the feel of his hair, still wondering if his hair was just simply greasy...but did even greasy hair feel like this? Though...even though she was curious about this Nakia thought it was best not to bring it up for now. Figuring he must have had a rough life till now, and simply after went back to eating her food.

He smiled, then yawned, starting to get tired

Seeing him getting a little sleepy looking she smiled slightly. "You sleepy?' she asked as she finished up her bowl.

He blushed and nodded, smiling

Cleaning up the plates first, setting them into the sink, she soon turned around to face him and offer her hand. "Alright how bout we get you settled then?"

He smiled. "Alright..." He said, grabbing her hand gently

She grinned and nodded. "Alright then, this way," she said as she went to go guide him towards where the guest bedroom was.

He smiled, following happily and yawning again

Once getting to the room she immediately lead him over to the bed pulling back the sheets for him.

He walked to the bed, lying down in bed. "Thank you..."

Nakia smiled in reply. "You're welcome, now go get some rest. We'll figure out more things tomorrow."

Nakia went to pull up the blankets to tuck Caleb in. "There that should be cozy, now try and get some rest i'll be around if you need me" she said as she started to pull away.

"You're welcome," she said as she went to start heading out the room pausing at the doorway to smile over at him. "Goodnight," she said before going to turn off the light for him.

She smiled before going to head out of the room to go to her own to sleep for the night, feeling pretty sleepy herself now.

He soon dozed off, smiling and happy for the first time in a long while

After the busy evening Nakia had finding herself falling asleep easily too, cuddled up and nestled comfortably in her bedsheets.

Caleb tossed and turned, whimpering as his mental programming that acted up as he slept gave him unpleasent memories to relive in his current sleep-mode mindset
