Nakia was having a good sleep, when she got awoken by whimpering sounds. "Hmmm..." she groaned sleepily as she got up as she made her way over to Caleb's room, "Caleb?" she questioned before noticing noticing the boy tossing around. Quickly guessing he must be having a nightmare...she wouldn't blame him if he had gone through some scary stuff...made her way over to the boy.
"...It's okay Caleb..." she whispered to the sleeping looking boy as she went to reach out to touch his shoulder to try and calm him.

He whimpered, but at feeling her touch he stirred, starting to boot up again, opening his eyes slightly. They almost seemed to gleam a moment before they were regular eyes again as he looked up at her, a bit confused at first, taking a moment to remember earlier. "Mommy...?"

Nakia noticed his gleaming eyes for a sec, but just assumed that they were just watery as she watched him wake up. Raising an eyebrow briefly at what he said. "Mommy?...uhh...no Caleb it's me...Nakia....."

He looked up, and seemed to blush, covering his face with his hands. "O-oh, I...I'm sorry, Nakia, I...I didn't mean..."

Stares at him before gives him a gentle look going to sit on one side of the bed. "No...it's okay Caleb...and you were having a nightmare...you were just a bit confused..." she said while reaching forward to try and pry his hands away from his face. Gently of coarse.

He whimpered. "S-still...I'm sorry..." He said, looking down a bit shamefully

"No...it's okay Caleb...it's okay....and everyone gets nightmares from time to time.." Nakia said as she went to rub his back. "now want to tell me about your dream?" she asked wondering if that would make him feel better.

He shook his head, squeezing his eyes shut. "N-no..."

"No?" he must have had a really scary dream she guessed. "Well..that's okay...you don't have to tell me anything you don't want to...do you want me to stay here by your side for the night though?"

He sniffled and looked up at her with wide eyes. "...would you...?"

She stared at him softly before nodded, "sure i would...if you'd like me to.."

He smiled. "Please..."

Nakia smiled softly, "Okay then i'll stay" she said as she went to grab the extra pillow so she could lay back and relax. Thinking the kid just needed a nice reassuring presence.

He smiled, starting to close his eyes again. "Thank you..."

"It's no problem Caleb...i don't mind staying here with you.." she said as she yawned and went to settle herself down for a snooze.

Feeling him cuddling up against her, she smiled as well while sleepily going to wrap an arm around him to hold him close and rub his back soothingly for a short bit.

He smiled, relaxing as he went back into sleep mode, no longer having nightmares

Never thinking about what Caleb might be either then a human, the girl soon nodded off as well.

He booted up the next morning feeling refreshed, yawning

When he opened his eyes, he would discover that Nakia is still asleep, breathing in and out peacefully.

He smiled, deciding to watch her sleep

It took a little bit, but eventually as the room lit up more with the sun rising behind the window curtains the girl soon went to wake up, groanin a bit before opening her eyes lazily.

He smiled a bit, snuggling against her. "Morning, sunshine~"

Feeling something snuggle against her, she soon glanced down to see Caleb there. She smiled as well before nodding. "Ah...morning..." she greeted while giving him a lazy hug. "How'd you sleep?"

He smiled. "I slept better with you around~"

"You did?" she asked while going to rub his head *well that's good to hear that you did."

He smiled, then his stomach growled

Hearing the gurgles she grinned. "Sounds like someone wants breakfast," she said while going to go poke him in the tummy to tease him lightly.

He giggled. "Maybe a little~"

She giggled too finding his laughter to be cute. She then stopped hugging him and started to get up. "Well lets find something to eat then, maybe something else that's yummy," she said remembering how much he enjoyed mac and cheese last night.

He smiled and said "Alright~" Then he got up as well, bouncing around excitedly

"Hehe alright, off to the kitchen then!" Nakia said as she got off the bed and went off to head that way. Planning a meal that her little guest might like.

He giggled, following right behind her. "Yay~"

As soon as she got to the kitchen she went to go get a pan out and some eggs from the fridge.

As she prepared to cook, feeling eyes on her Nakia glanced up to see Caleb watching. "I'm going to be cooking some eggs today, does that sound good?' she asked him.

She giggled thinking he sounded cue being so happy. "Hehe okay, and i bet you'll love these too."

"Hehe i'm sure you will!" she said optimistically as she went to start making the eggs, deciding to go with scrambled. Cracking the eggs and stirring them up.

He tilted his head, watching with a smile

She continued to occasionally stir as she let the eggs cook up, and once she was sure they were ready went to plate them up on two bowls, and squiggled on a bit of ketchup. "There we go all ready! Go ahead and take one," she said gesturing to the plates.

"What's this?" He asked, pointing to the ketchup

"This?" Nakia asked while gesturing to the ketchup. "Oh it's just ketchup...which is basically a tomato paste." She attempted to explain.

"Umm...uhh..." she went to hand him the plate. "How bout you try it? And trust me scrambled eggs and ketchup are good."

He nodded. "Oh...okay..." He said, taking a bite of the eggs before brightening. "Mmm~"

Watches him as he tried his eggs before grinned. "Hehe you like them? I'm guessing?' she asked.
