Description
I decided to give my older/rarely used characters some love~! Here are the age ranges you can choose from--the children and SOME teens obviously will have parents, but the adults (or those old enough to technically be adults/live alone will be considered adults) will be on their own.Kids (with families) : Raymond
Teens (with families) : Elijah , AJ , Fender , Jaylen
Teens (on their own) : Travis , Blake , Luan , Danny 'R' Anderson , Ashton , Ade , Valra
Adults (on their own) : Elton , Zakaru , Me (goth version) , Efren , Wesley Toruske (ages 18-27)
**NOTE** NO ONE WILL HAVE THEIR POWERS OR UNUSUAL BACKGROUNDS. Travis and so on won't have powers, Raymond won't have a monster, Fender will be only human, same with Valra, Wesley will be human too, etc. But, debating on if I should let Zakaru keep his powers or not...

Elton shifted around a bit, sighing. "Ken, you're a bad liar...I've had my hand over you the entire time..." He said softly, feeling the boy's forehead. "There's no way you're cold...hang on a second." He said, holding Kenneth to his chest as he sat up to turn on the nightstand lamp. "What's wrong, kiddo? Bad dream again?"

Elton hesitated, looking down at Kenneth before hugging him gently. "...oh, kiddo..." He said softly, sighing. "Want a midnight snack? How about milk and cookies? It might make you feel better."

"...yeah." he sniffed. "Please."

He smiled, getting up and taking Kenneth down to the kitchen, setting the borrower gently on the counter as he got out some cookies and a small shot glass of milk

Kenneth sat patiently. "...you weren't there...in my dream this time."

Elton looked over slightly, confused. "Oh? What happened in your dream, then?"

"I was being chased...outside. More bad people." he sighed, shaking his head.

Elton sighed. "I'll always protect you, kiddo..."

He nodded, flustered. "I know that...but my brain doesn't..."

Elton smiled, stroking him gently. "...just relax, kiddo."

"I am, I am...can I have a cookie?"

He smiled, giving Kenneth the cookie happily. "There you go."

Kenneth ate a bit of it, seeming a little better. "Thanks." he sighed

He smiled, kissing Kenneth on the head. "You're welcome."

Kenneth smiled. "...Elton...you act so much like a parent..." he said. "Not that that's a bad thing, of course."

Elton smiled softly. "...I guess I act like a parent because I never had kids of my own...seeing you alone...I want to be like a second father to you...keep you safe."

Kenneth nodded, looking down. "...thank you. It...it helps. Being so far from my family...well, I guess for this long, I didn't realize I missed that."

Elton blinked in surprise, then smiled. "I'll take you to visit sometime, I promise."

Kenneth rubbed his eyes, sniffling. He did smile though. "...thank you...I..don't know what to say."

Kenneth shrugged. "I won't keep you up. And...I actually feel...like I'm fine this time. Really." he said, seeming a lot better than he had.

He smiled. "Alright then..."

"...thanks, Elton." he said sincerely, easing into the older's hand. He relaxed, yawning. "I'm glad we're friends. It makes all of this easier."

Kenneth smiled up at him widely. "I don't think I'd want to be around any other person. So...well, yeah." he shrugged, chuckling. "What should we do now?"

Oh shoot, the human's eyes were open... It couldn't happen, it was all a dream ! He wasn't seen ! He couldn't be ! Dylan froze in terror, looking at the bean with terrified eyes, still hoping it was just a dream and nothing would happen to him...

Travis gulped nervously, moving back in his bed a bit. "H-hi..." He said softly, biting his lip. Was that really a tiny person in front of him?

Dylan backed away, whimpering. "H-h-hi. Oh please don't grab me..." He said out loud, stuttering out of fear. Was the human thinking about what he would do to him ? To hurt him ?

"Just stay completely still, and maybe the bean will go to sleep and think you were just a dream..." The 13 year old borrower didn't believe what he was saying, but hope always sprang eternal.

Raymond smiled softly, fraying the thread enough with his strength that one of the threads holding it snapped, the other weakened. "Can you get it now?"

He smiled, shaking his head. "No. Your secret's safe with me, I pinkie promise." He said, offering the pinkie to the borrower without thinking
