Hi guys! Well like I have already mentioned on my latest journal I think it may be a good idea to show case volume one to give readers an insight on the quality of my work.
My progress so far: I've just finished 7 pages of the official 'to be published' graphic novel! ^^
Anyway here is my first page to kick start the official story of my cartoon series! Enjoy! ^_~

So you already start to show us the pieces of the dream you've been talking and thinking about for the last months... So this is it. The first site...
And I like it... Yes. I like how you start the story, the introducing of the treasure travelling... I really have to think about what you told us in Heidelberg now... And you did a great job. I like the detail you put into the characters and the backgrounds as always. From its form it's reminding me of many other mangas and comics I already read, and it can stand next to them without a problem, Just great...
One Piece... One Piece... Everyone says One Piece... Inspiration is good, and we can see it, definatly... But I hope the plot will have some more changes. As far as you told me it will, and I believe in your talents as a good creative narrator here. You also told me once that you want to start a revolution with your cartoon... That wouldn't be possible with an One-Piece-Clone... But I trust in you that the Ashworth-Series will become a name for itself. ^^
So take your time, and do a good job.

That treasure hunting reveals to be really a great adventure and I guess that much more treasures is going to reveal after that 20 years.
Is that somebody want to refer not just golden treasures? Kinda....someone that was been sealed somewhere in the island that has a power that can change the world????? And that someone that just randomly is a wombat that for just an idea his name is Ashworth????????????

I never see the first volume of One Piece, but I know that your concept of treasure here is completely diferent from that series.

you are now the third person today who has started with a project you longed for so much! the other person also has the same dream of publishing the comic and i think she is really happy that people like her comic so much. and I am sure that you are happy too to have posted your first page of the porject you have been working on for so long. I know that feeling, because I felt just the same when i drew "Eternal Purity" for the first time... and when i started to post it here on DevArt.... and people liked it, I was the happiest person on earth.
The beginning is really well done, the drawing style interesting. I am curious for the next page. 
keep up your good work. and enjoy drawing, from how you sound, I am sure you enjoy it too.

Great page, artistically speaking. Two things though... (Which, I'm hoping you won't mind, considering that you are planning on selling these, and as such input back on it would help... x-x )
1. I have to agree with a few other people that it does have a One Piece inspired feel to it. Later on, of course, it won't, but right now it does.
2. In America 'artefacts' is spelled 'artifacts', but you could have the Australian way of spelling it...?

Yes indeed ONE PIECE is a major influence and I will do the honour of re-telling the treasure hunting story in a unique and refreshing way! ^_~

Your story is eerily reminiscent of One Piece...
The actual details may be different - but after reading it, One Piece is the first thing that came to mind...
Now, not that I'm a huge One Piece fan to BEGIN with...
------> But something about a location in the sea where someone said there is supposed to be a great deal of treasure just draw my mind there...
TO BE CLEAR THOUGH: THIS STORY IS OBVIOUSLY NOT LIKE ONE PIECE AT ALL...
It has to do with something else...we just don't know quite what yet...
