Description
Fred Dukes mostly had a quiet life, but by his adult life he was often made fun off because of his weight. though when some of the agitators tried to hit him, their punches were ineffective against him and when they drew out their guns and fired, the bullets bounced off of his skin as if it was made of rubber. Fred was originally recruited by a local circus as their star attraction called the Blob. but as the sideshow was a dying art, Fred left to pursue other revenues. He then came across a wrestling troupe, he was making more money as a wrestler than he did as a sideshow freak. he befriended another wrestler who also happened to be impervious to any punches, as if they were repelled. his name is Gunther Bain, he legally changed it from his birth name Angelo Unuscione, but he still used his old surname as his wrestling moniker Unus the Untouchable. the two became fast friends and tag team partners as Team Bulletproof. they made a killing in the ticket sales and refused to take hits for gangs as long as their ruse was not exposed.
That all ended when Magneto approached them and revealed to their devoted audience that they were both mutants, and he needs their help. through rigorous training, Fred discovered that he was surprisingly strong and durable, and Unus' own personal force field made him impervious to physical attacks. with their combined strength, the Brotherhood was now a more dangerous force to be reckoned with.
for this i decided to give them modern wrestling gear more fitted to their personalities. Blob's suit is a homage to his classic black and gold look. i also gave him a tattoo 'Fat Boi' as he wears his body positivity with pride. for Unus, he could only get the one tattoo on his chest through difficult means, with the help of a temporary gene suppressant.
DISCLAIMER: i'm OK with people using parts to make their own stuff, as long as i am credited.
