Darkwing Duck - BushrootDon't you know, Bushy, all the cool kids droop these days!
...Just something I needed to doodle no drawing on the computer, while on my trip, was driving me CRAZY.
So is the lack of drawing porn.But meh THAT I can wait to do.

You know what, I think I see what you mean. I think the shading I did on the face throws it off. The light source would have been the upper left corner, so there shouldn't have been any shading on top of the bill.
I honestly don't pay attention to shading when I draw. And I really should. Thanks for pointing it out for me.

My boyfriend has recentlly got back into Darkwing Duck (He's been reading the comic book series) and while watching this episode with him I clearly pointed that scene out--where did his clothes go?
I kind of find it amusing that Bushroot seems to be okay wandering around naked afterwards.

To be fair, it seems to be okay for Ducks not to wear pants anyway. But once he took off the shirt, he was classified as "naked". I understand losing the shoes and pants....But why the shirt? Maybe he was jut feeling so in touch with nature. *rimshot*

I actually think his pre-mutated form was simply adorable. (One of my biggest pet peeves is Bushy's duck form being called "ugly". Baaah!)Buuuuut, saying that....I DO think he looks sexier as a lyceum nycanthropus.

I also imagine he probably just face planted at one moment, and that was why he ditched them.
Naaaaaah, I did actually put a bit of effort into the background. (Not much, but some!) And I tried making it look like something you'd see in the cartoon. So I'm glad it stands out or you.

Bushy uses quick and logical thinking. 'Oh no! I'm turning into a plant! What do I DO?! ... Take off my pants!' Actually he didn't know he was a plant until after he got to the lab and saw their reaction so I still don't know why he decided to strip before going and seeing Rhod- oohhh.
But seriously, I think the inking looks great, and the background is pleasing but doesn't take the focus off of Reggie. Nice sense of movement, and his expression makes me smile.
