Cynthia's expression is what flat-out kills me. She's just so...manic, in an odd way. Like there is no way in hell you will not be accepting that pie if she has anything to say about it.

LOL. Thank you. My idea behind the expression was that Cynthia was just trying to be friendly, but have her come off too friendly to the point it was creepy. Doof was probably complaining about "Oh, why do we need to go welcome neighbors, anyway. all they're going to end up doing is nagging and nagging, borrowing our sugar, and nagging anyway." She was probably being stern with him, when the door suddenly opened and she had to put her "nice" face on. LOL.

Thank you! I've been playing around with soft shading more, lately. I really like the cartoony feel it gives. Some reason, for me, it seems to look more natural than if I would choose the shading colors by hand.
