Okay, this needs some back story.

Since the moment I saw [link] , I've been in love with it. Which surprised me greatly, because I am not a fan of turning very stylized cartoons into an anime style. (One of my peeves in every fandom, really.) However, this is one of my rare exceptions. It's cute, has a lot of personality, and is full of action.

It really made me want to challenge myself. Fine, I prefer things more in their original style, yes? Then do it. Can I capture everything I loved about the original, and make it look more canon?

Failings:

For whatever reason, I wasn't able to capture that intimate feel of the original. I liked how Candace and Vanessa were squeezed together, as if they were working together to bust their foes.

I also suck at drawing hands. which the picture really made me stare in envy at how pretty they looked.

The cute factor is significantly less.

The Pros:

I'm actually pretty proud at how I was able to capture the style. probably my best example of it. and I like how it looks like a poster. I just want to print it out and hang it on my wall.

Would that be narcissistic?

Meh. who cares? now, i did this without asking for permission. So if really wants me to take it down, I will. It's my bad that inspiration struck so hard, i forgot to even ask.

I also ask that those who fave this, for them to please go leave a comment on the original. They deserve it.
