Disney AU - Mister RabbitMore fanart for 's "Milton Heights: Block Party". This time of Rabbit, because....Ra-ra <3 . He is one classy elementary school teacher. Just check out his tie. That is the most exciting thing he owns. That's sad. Rabbit has no life outside of work and his garden.
Dude needs to get laid, fo' rizzles.
Also, don't pay attention to how lazy this is. I just wanted to focus on his colors and getting his general look down.

Oh, look at him. I still can't help but see just how much he's a dad, all over.
That happy carrots tie is compellingly hideous. It's incredible ugly, blindingly ugly, and yet I am charmed. What the heck?
I love the age and the stress in his face, I'll say it again. It just adds so much character!

That is a real tie, you know. That thing freaken exists. I saw it when I was looking up carrot references. Ans I laughed and HAD to make that his tie. It's so corny. And yet....that is his fun humor tie. And his students like it almost as much as he does. Just...happy ugly carrots <3.
I think you're right. Something in his looks, even with his obvious signs of stress, just screams "good with kids". Which I'm so so glad it comes through. I always hated when people talked bad about Rabbit, saying he was just a "mean and angry guy for no reason." Um, no. He actually is only angry when you fuck with his garden, and I think that is a justifiable thing. That garden is his pride and joy, and literally was his baby until Kessie came into his life. I would be highly upset if someone came into my yard, and just ruined everything I worked on for MONTHS. Love you Tigger, and I get it was an accident that occurred because you were just excited to see ol' Long Ears...but I'm siding with Rabbit. Rabbit has the right to be upset.
But yeah, no. Rabbit is actually a cheery and social guy when his anxieties aren't acting up. Or if someone isn't screwing with their stuff. And the way he treated Kessie, the way he fixed himself for Roo to have an enjoyable Easter, and the way he loves Christopher Robin...He is the perfect guy to have around kids.

Oh good heavens. Every fashionable bone in my body is aching at the thought of it. It's definitely corny! (Carroty? Oh, no, stop me now.) It's a goofy, goofy tie...and it kind of suits him, oddly enough. Be proud of your ugly happy carrot tie, Rabbit. Work it.
Agreed. He's not unreasonable in his anger. He's usually grumpy because people are trying to interrupt a really delicate process. Gardening is a long term project, but trying to keep up with a big garden all on your own is hard and exhausting--and every minute really might count! The "Tigger destroying the garden" scenes are always the hardest to watch...it's horrible to see all that care and effort disappear! And his enthusiasm does not make it all better. I'd like to see more scenarios where he pitches in to try to do some damage control.
I definitely get that feeling from him! He loves them and wants to help them grow and improve--just a new and excitingly different kind of garden!

....I just imagined Rabbit in nothing but that tie, trying to be sexy. Oh man, facepalm central.
I would too, actually. There are very few times when Tigger stops to help fix his mistakes. And I'd like to think, in due time, he'll start to see just how in the wrong he is. I said it before, but Tigger is so oblivious. But once something is pointed out to him...he sees it. And man, i can imagine Tigger suddenly realizing what horrible thing he has done, and then do whatever he can to fix it. He'd make mistakes, sure. he doesn't know what he's doing. But then Rabbit will see that Tigger is trying. And he'll be touched, and just go and show him the proper way to do it. And then that's something they do together.
I can see Rabbit being so proud, yet sad every year his students move on to the next grade. I can see him writing out long reports to be put in the students' portfolios, and given to the next teacher. Long notes like "And young Mister Jumbo is a shy boy. Intelligent, but he doesn't like to step into the limelight. I recommend trying to encourage him to speak up more, though not too much. Reading alloud in class is enough to startle him and set him paces back. Try independent conversations and questionings, get him to discuss his interests. "
Worry wart.

Oh, wow, that's an image. Well. Everybody is attractive to somebody, and I guess in this case that Tigger might develop a thing for hideous ties.
That would be really neat! I need to see if I can do something with that...hmmm!
Complete worry wart. But one that cares very much about his students and hates to see them go. Don't worry, Rabbit. You'll have a whole new batch of sprouts to foster and care for soon enough!

To be fair...Tigger probably also likes that tie anyway. Because he's thinking "See! Ya do have some fun in ya! Just gotta get out in OTHER ways~" Que eyebrow waggle, even though he didn't mean it as an accidental innduendo...though, Rabbit ends up taking it that way. Perv.
Funny thing? I bet Rabbit DOES end up talking about his students like they are his garden. Calling them his little sprouts, and making lots of garden puns. Though, he doesn't really notice he's doing it.

Okay, I believe it. Rabbit is the one with the dirty mind. Do not let that prim and proper disposition fool you. He is assuming an innuendo where there's just Tiggerness. Not, I'd imagine, that one can really tell the difference between Tiggerness and Tigger making an innuendo...
Awww! That is adorable! I wonder if anyone's ever called him on it or just lets him go on.

Oddly enough...I don't think Tigger makes many innuendos on purpose. I actually imagine him being pretty innocent minded, in that regard. Not that I think he's a virgin...I just think Tigger doesn't really think about it. He is a touchy feeling kind of guy naturally. A hug just feels good, and that's what he knows! Rabbit is the one who thinks about it too much. Which makes him get defensive and upset even more.
Saying that...everything is initiated by Tigger. First hug, first kiss, and so on.

Mm, that makes sense. Although I have to stick by it in at least one point--I believe in my deepest heart that at least sometimes, the type of bouncing Tigger claims to do best is not necessarily jumping.
Of course! Rabbit's talk-about-it, fight-about-it, think-about-it instincts would keep him rooted to the spot. Tigger's the one who can get physical without worrying about everything.
