Man, I need to draw Lucky to the point I feel confident drawing him. I want to draw fun pinups with him, darnnit! Siiiigh, Lucky.

You know....I think I'm inclined to agree. Although, it feels like I've improved the most over the last month. I think having a goal helped. "I need to do this stuff for school. This is serious business. I need to amp up my game. I am going in this blind, but let's see if we can achieve this!" Just this goal gave me the courage to actually look at other features on my digital program. Thus letting me experiment and get new results.
But thank you! I'm glad to have you go on this journey with me. I can't wait to see what other things come my way.

Man, I haven't watched Bonkers in FOREVER. It wasn't my favourite of the DA shows, but I still enjoyed it.

If only there were HD screenshots1 That would have helped with coloring a LOT. but nooo, I had to do it manually. Curse pixelation!
But seriously, you're so sweet! That's quite a compliment. Bonkers is relatively simple for me. He's just a typical toon body, and he shares some facial qualities with Darkwing Duck. So that helps. It's Lucky where I have to fiddle around forever. My instincts tell me that drawing Miranda would be much much MUCH easier....But I liiiike Piquel! It seems wrong to abuse a character like that, just because it would be easier on me.

Yeah, I can say that too. I wouldn't call it my favorite, but it's really enjoyable to watch. And I have always liked the concept of toons being real. It's what drew me to Roger Rabbit.

Thanks, dear! I had fun with this one. Just thought I'd practice more with these two. Had to play with color balance for a bit, to try and get it to look like there was actually a difference between a toon coloring and a Human one. Ended up making Bonkers more a cool temperature, and warmed up Lucky. That seemed to do the trick.
