You really don't like the BOOM comic, huh? I'm rather sad they're getting rid of it. (I'm a frequent lurker on the Old Haunt, so I know how you feel about what they did to Quacky. His character never really bothered me, since Tad had originally meant for him to be more twisted, but how he treated Megs was just... UN-FUCKING-FORGIVABLE. And how his story ended in the Annal... it literally made me throw the comic across the floor and and scream "FUCK! FUCK, NO!"
Anyway, this cover is made of pure WIN. I LOVE the way you drew Morg here! And I totally caught the Scooby-Doo ref! Heh, Megs does look slightly stoned, doesn't he... but then, with those eyes, he always does.

I was all for a bit maturer comic at first. I don't have a problem with a Darker Quacky. I have a problem with the fact that he didn't even feel like Quackerjack anymore. There is just something WRONG about him being angry all the time. And then I found the "joke" that happened to Megs just cruel. It wasn't funny. I'm all for slapstick and violent humor. Heck, remember when Gizmoduck had crushed Megavolt's foot and was just mindlessly talking to the doctors, while Megavolt screamed bloody murder the whole time? Now THAT was hilarious. just his expressions and how oblivious Giz was. LOL. Thing is...He didn't do that on purpose. After Quackerjack said he was glad Megs came along....Megavolt replied with a sweet and genuine comment. Then BAM! Quacky turns the tables and hurt him. And it's not a gag, like with a voltage handbuzzer...He has Megavolt screaming in pain for a very long time, violating and using him, and KNOWINGLY doing so. That's a Negaduck move, not a Quackerjack move.
And don't get me STARTED on the annual. No, I am not a fan of the comics. I get depressed every time I read them. They're barely even FUNNY now.
Saying that, I'm liking the current arc so far. Saying that, I've only read the One-Shot one so far. I need to read catankerous still. And with all my misgivings, I still love the art of the comics. From Silvani to . But yeah...I'm probably known as THE hater of Ian Brill. XD
thank you! I'm really really really having fun with these. There is just something...Special about seeing a story of yours as a potential comic. And Morg deffiantly steals the spotlight here. As she should, really. And LOL! Do you watch Futurama? Remember when Bender was getting stoned from jacking on electricity? For all we know, it has the same side effect on Megs.

4,797 words are written of chapter 3. And there is still a third that needs to be written. XD This will probably be the longest chapter. Hopefully it'll be done sometime in the next two days.

Mock covers are surprisingly easier than I thought they'd be. It makes me want to try covers for many stories from the DWD fandom that I like. XD
Pissed off Morgana is just so much fun. I feel bad because Morgana hasn't seemed completely pleasant in the story. Morgana is a sweet and loving gal, but she just didn't have a great night. She got ditched by her boyfriend, mud flung into her face, and then Quackerjack and Megavolt insulted her, Darkwing, and were sexist. (There is something surprisingly fun about pretending women are only meant to be in the kitchen makin sammiches. Would I tolerate anyone saying it to me in real life? Heck no! And yet, I still enjoyed it. LOL. Of the complexity of it all.)
But thank you! I'm glad you like how I drew her! You should draw a mock cover sometime. I know you'd do an amazing job!

Thanks, Cheeze! Morgana, I think, was my personal favorite part of this. I think I've only draw her a few times, so it was nice to finally feel like I've drawn her in a way that actually LOOKS like her.

Aaaactually, no. It's a joke. It's punny. As in polite or respectable, which they obviously aren't. (As shown in the story.) It's also suppose to play on "descent of man." Or did I just make a stupid joke? LOL
That was on purpose too. It was a scooby doo reference. I remember seeing in the old shows how Scooby would look absolutely terrified, where Shaggy would looked stoned and not as scared. It always amused me, though I never understood why. And, to be fair, Quacky WAS the one talking the most smack about women in the chapter. He should be worried more. XD
