Description
An incredibly heavy tank of the JS (Josef Stalin) line of tanks, this vehicle was first produced in 1945. Although there are several German claims to engaging and destroying a number of these vehicles during the final days of the war, this is highly unlikely, as the JS III probably arrived too late in the war to take part in combat against German forces, although there exists the possibility that a few engaged the Japanese in Manchuria. While arriving too late for significant action (if any) in the Second World War, these Russian giants would go on to see service in the Korean and Middle East wars, and a number of design features - most notably the low-silhouette shape with hemispherical turret - would be incorporated in all future Russian tank designs.JS III Vehicle Stats:

When Germany was defeated, General George S. Patton Jr. was very suspicious of Russian intentions, and was making public statements about kicking their butts back to Moscow. Worried that his old friend might start something, Ike tookΒ Third Army away from him. Probably a good idea, because if Georgie did pick a fight with the Ruskies, our Shermans would have been pitted against monsters like this, and the JS11's. Once these got rolling, they would not have stopped until reaching St. Nazaire!

Oh the IS series wasnt that good!
The armor is pretty low and the shape not as perfect as the T-34.

There are claims that they were suposedly used in combat but it is highly unlikely, however, they did were shown in the Victory Parade on Berlin in 1945.

I just love how when I see armor descriptions on these kind of pictures, they never specify WHAT parts of the tank are what thickness. It never tells us whether the turret or hull is the thickest part of the tank and also doesn't display thickness of the all-round armor layout (i.e. front, sides, rear)

This is my favorite heavy tank! Yay!
HOWEVER, time for me to come derping through with my corrections to the stats.
Length: 9.9m (you essentially had that right)
Width: 3.09m (you essentially had that right)
Height: 2.73m
Weight: Correct above
Armor: 110/90/60 (front/sides/rear, mm) - Effective frontal armor is higher due to pike-nose design.
Turret Armor: 175/175/100 (front/sides/rear, mm) - Effective armor is much greater due to extremely flat profile and high sloping.
Primary Armament: 122mm D-2-5T, 122mm D-25T, 122mm BL-9 (most powerful)
Secondary Armament: Correct above
Primary Ammo Stowage: Correct above
Secondary Ammo Stowage: Correct above
Powerplant: V11 650hp, diesel; V-2-54IS 700hp, diesel
Max Speed: 38/15 km/h (forward/reverse)
Range: 240 km, 150 mi
Operators: Soviet Union (post war); China (attempted reverse engineering; failed in favor of T54A copy), Egypt, North Korea, other Warsaw Pact nations
Sorry for sounding like a megadouche. I don't mean to insult your knowledge of armor; I just was backing everything up. Everything that you had was close; it could just be because different sources say different things.
This is actually a really good photo of the tank. Where was it taken?

IS-3's were not used during the Second World War... They were being produced, but none were ready to be shipped to the lines by the time the war was over.

Yeah this tank is now gone from Aberdeen..(its funny to see the "Grasshopper" SP gun in the background with NO foliage growing through it yet..I see this pic is from 2006..
I know the US made a Tank specifically to face this tank but pretty much both Tanks were not used in the massive battles envisioned for them (thank God!!).

JS-3 did have powerful 122mm gun and thick armour, but its limited maneuvering ability made it excellent target for British 17-pounders and American 90mm AA guns, especially since Americans used HVAP rounds for their 76mm and 90mm guns, that were able to neutralize JS-3 even when firing at front armour.
Besides, American and British aircraft with air-ground missiles have always been able to stop any Soviet/Russian tank, even P-47 with such missiles could knock down JS-3.
