Description 05/27/11 Redlines done for ~dernwine (website: [link] ), all copyrights belong to them (I just drew the helpful scribbles, the image and character are theirs alone).

I'm submitting this in hopes someone else may glean useful information. :3

What is a Redline?: Redlines are when an artist takes another artist's artwork and draws over it to help point out mistakes and useful information for the sole purpose of helping the other artist learn. It's a teaching mechanism and is not meant in any derogatory way - but instead, as honest, helpful feedback. As part of a new weekly tradition, I am offering to do Redlines free of charge, no credit required for any artist that asks me to, every Saturday and Sunday. Think of it as a personal mini-tutorial

I'm a them now? Wow this explains sooo much .
Thanks Mio! I'm geniuinly (Geniuenly, gen, gen agarasdfle) tempted to go back and redraw this now.
On a side note, it's really intresting (and helpful!) to see how you interpreted my hairstyles more realistically, I have been generally working on character consistency with there faces and hair rather than realism (which to be frank, especially for Freija [Redhead] I'd never really considered.
Once again thank you, and sorry for the confusion!

XD it's a copy and pasted description cause i basically have to give the same info on all the redlines and I don't want to have to edit in "his" or "her" hehe

Ah~ That's the tablet I'm keeping my eye on. XD I might get a bamboo tablet to start with since I heard there good for beginners.(Pretty cheap too.)

there's actually not that much difference between them. I had a graphire 4 (predecessor to the bamboo) before i got this one, and they work pretty much the same. only difference is I can make much lighter lines with this one (the sensitivity is higher) and it eats through nibs. (i had my other one eight years and never had to change my pen.. ive had this one not even a year and i've lost a quarter of an inch off the nib). It has a lot of buttons, but if you don't use them (like me) then it's a really small difference

Hm.. I may just keep an eye on the bamboo fun cause I don't wanna have to change the pen every week. xD As much as I like to draw and doodle.
