This is the most helpful hair tutorial that I've ever seen. Most others just focus on how to draw the individual strands of hair and how to make it look nice and shiny. Your tutorials are the only ones I've seen that actually show you how hair moves and how it lays on the head and whatnot. Definite fave!

Everything in your tutorial seems so obvious, but I know i have never used it when I draw people. I'm still in that stage where lines have to be exact even in the sketch. Thank you!

Of you were referring to that...i donΒ΄t make it like that, but i tend to make a solid form, and then divide it into differently sized clumps...of course, because of the lack of a thin marker, i cannot do a lot of pretty individual hair, but i try to make it convincing with color lines and shine...for example...is this hair OK? (I know it isnΒ΄t...but it seems cute to me...)

Ah...Blame the pencil...i canΒ΄t seem to make a line like i want it with the sharpener i have...it makes my pencils all curved.

aww, yah, i used to do a lot of tranditional pencil work, but after awhile it just doesnt come out as nicely as my digital stuff, so now I work completely digital XD i'm addicted to the undo button.

lol the problem with erasers is no matter how good it is, it still leaves traces :/ eventually if you use it enough, it'll eat through your paper XD .. on the other hand the digital eraser <3 is clean and size changeable!

XD yah i still have the urge to draw on paper sometimes, but my end product comes out better on the tablet. lol something about having paper flat on my desk somehow causes my heads to become to large for their bodies. LOL

Well...that is exactly why paper drawings have so many marks, you have to correct them till you get them Ok, instead, if a head turns too big digitally, you just make it a bit smaller, fix a couple things and voila.
