Description
I promised *vladimirsangel ’s that I would do some gift art for her of Astartes. I did several sketches but in the end I couldn’t decided between this one and one other, so I ended up doing them both. This is one of the two of them.Astartes © *vladimirsangel

Just saw the coolest thing flipping through my backlog of journals...those little spotlights I had over each icon for my contest? The both swivled just as your icon 'lut up' and turned away right as it faded out...how often could -that- possibly happen X-D

I like the studs on his belt and the fact that you did his entire musculature without inked lines. Kinda softens up the entire piece and adds to his (apparent) calm and serene looks.

Thanks, I couldn't really decide which one I liked best...so I did them both. I liked this one's pose too but I wasn't happy with his face. :\
