Oh yeah, I'm kind of leery of the remake. Not really sure why they're doing it but as long as they treat Pinhead with the respect he deserves then it should be ok. He is afterall, a work of art himself.

No i actually think that the first and the second movie need remakes, but only if they make them well.
And if they screw pinhead, it will all fail.

Exactly! Actually now that I think about it, all the stop motion stuff on Dr Channard in the second one would look alot better with todays effects. But if they're smart they'll keep Pinhead exactly as he is, I wouldn't change a thing, from the tip of his top pin to the bottom of his black robe they need to leave it all alone.

Yes. Pinhead was verry well done in all the movies. He looks just like in the comics. Well they will change the actor for shure, and thats enough for the fans to say fuck it. if they change the way he looks.. it might be the best storry, and dome perfectlly.. if pinhead suck the movie wil suck. I hope they'll see it.

Yeah actually the thought of a different actor kind of makes me cringe. That alone right there will make it feel weird. And to think, Clive Barker thought Julia was going to be the big star of the movies, he actually wanted her to be the focal point of the stories until he realized how popular Pinhead was.

Actually the comics were released shortly after the first movie, or maybe the 2nd. I guess they made Pinhead the focal point in the comics because of his popularity. Clive Barker wrote a short story called 'The Hellbound Heart' which the movie was based on, and the way they describe Pinhead in that story is completely different than the movie. I'm really glad they re-did him for the movies, if you can ever find a copy of that story you should read it, it's pretty interesting but not as good as the movies.

It's a short story, only 48 pages but this is what was the basis for the movie.
