About the only thing missing is how to get ahold of her. The green hair and wings might be a bit off putting at first though I'm sure I could get used to it. Not sure my cats could, though they've never complained about my sharing my bed with an older woman, particularly one that looks like this. Partiuclarly one who can strike a pose as if she is trying for Penthouse's pet of the year though her boobs look real and that would disqualify her.

Actually conclusive studies of the effects of wormwood show the hallucinogenic effects have been somewhat exaggerated, and it's the alcohol in the absinthe itself that does get you drunk it just has a different sensation to it. Personally however I wouldn't know, I can't stand the taste, after 1 sip I asked for rum

How did it taste in shot form? It was given to me with the sugar and water and was just way too sweet, it reminded me of eating 'Good and Plenty's' which I hate.

Hmm, I would probably have preferred that flavor to the sickly sweet stuff I tried. And as far as I know the stuff you can get here is the same except for the wormwood, that part is missing and that's the part they claim to have to hallucinogenic properties, it is also claimed that it is poisonous and I think that's why actual Absinthe is illegal. But that claim is interesting since it's also shown to be very useful for medical purposes. So who knows, in all reality it was probably some political decision made way back when, sort of like the wood pulp and hemp paper war that W.R. Hearst helped to influence. What probably happened was some cough medicine company had an inferior product and the only way to sell it was to buy off some lobbyist somewhere to pad the pocket of some politician and pass a bill declaring wormwood illegal. Of course that's just a wild guess on my part I've never looked into the reasons to see why, but I've also heard that 'Lucid' that is legally sold in the US does contain wormwood, I actually have a bottle of that stuff, but since I didn't like it the first time I tried it I've never even opened the bottle

Yeah prohibition is a good example of what happens when you prohibit any substance, it creates far more problems than it ever solves. But I think they already know that, like you said, they need to promote themselves as the solution.
