Dave Filoni PLEASE re-canonize Revan and Kotor. Exactly the way they were.
Man, I can't believe how close Filoni was to introduce Revan to the Clone Wars series.

I wouldn't mind a few changes.
1: Make the tech/clothing of the Old Republic setting look more ancient, less advanced. If this is two thousand or so years before the movies it should look like it.
2: Make the Sith Emperor less absurdly powerful, and end Revan's story with him defeating the Emperor with all of his and Meetra Surik's companions from the two KOTOR games coming along.
F*** the MMO.

But the Old Republic tech already did look ancient. If you look at the interior of the ships, you'll see that their tech is completely different. The blasters also don't seem to be as powerful.
The Sith Emperor less powerful? Why? Even in the new canon, Palpatine is still far more powerful than Vitiate. I also prefer to have Revan failing to defeat the emperor. I don't want people to think he's a Mary Sue or something. His failure proved that he is not perfect, just an incredibly gifted tactician, philosopher and Force-wielder. But he still has his limits, such as his ambition.

The way Revan failed though in the novel was insulting.
They're fighting Vitiate, and then all of a sudden Scourge gets this vision of some other hero defeating the Emperor, and then turns on Revan and Meetra just like that? Without considering that they could potentially defeat Vitiate then and there?
Not only is that nonsensical, it's just a shameless advertisement for the Old Republic game. "Hey everyone, want to see any closure to this heartbreaking disaster? Then buy our game!"
And even then, Revan is killed by some random Imperial strike team and then his story ends with him being essentially the villain again. Without any regard for his development in the previous games. And the Emperor is vanquished by the creator's pet Jedi Knight.

It's not nonsensical. Revan simply wasn't powerful enough to face the Emperor directly. Also, the Imperial strike team didn't kill him. He used Fold Space to teleport (an incredibly rare ability which only select few throughout Star Wars history have performed) out of desperation. And he wasn't the villain. Revan is both dark and light, he does whatever is necessary to protect the galaxy. What he was doing was for the greater good. But he later appears in the expansion pack which gives him a more satisfying and spiritual end. And Vitiate didn't die either. We have yet to know how and when he truly died. But the Darth Plagueis novel revealed that he did eventually meet his final death.

I admit that I do like Revan as a character. This is an excellent piece. Kudos on a job well done.

"Savior, conqueror, hero, villain... You are all things, Revan. And yet, you are nothing. In the end you belong to neither the Light, nor the Darkness. You will forever stand alone."

It would be awesome if Revan appeared to talk to Ezra.

It would be like that scene in Clone Wars where Yoda talked to Bane.

Revan is one of the few sith lords I haven't read up on extensively. I'll think I'll do that now.
Great work dude!
Mabey wanna do something of the best sith lord ever? Darth Maul? X3

TBH, there's nothing better than a good darth revan fanart, especially yours The holorcron is very detailed and more closer to viewer showing how powerful the lure of the darkside is compared to Revan's will to resist it. Even the fact they have matching colors almost reminds us that he will fall to the dark side.
Also this reminds me of the scene in Spongebob were he fails in not giving into needing water, saying "I Don't need it, I don't need it...I NEEEED It"

When that line was heard in the new Star Wars: Rebels mid season 2 trailer, me and others have been wondering if we could see more characters from the old EU appear in the new canon.
I do hope Darth Revan is mentioned/referenced when Ezra, Kanan, and Ahsoka go to that underground Sith temple. But only time will tell.
