I could type for hours on why I would vote for this party... (too bad I'm 16!)... anywho! Won't get into that. Research and do your homework. John McCain and Palin rock, and they're going to rock this country. Sure hope the media gives them a chance.

Well that's a funny way to phrase it! But if you mean do I support gay marriage? Not so much. I just think that traditional marriage is directly linked to all sorts of religious and cultural heritage, and gay marriage should have it's own title, maybe.

I mean, I have absolutely no problems with Conservatism as a political stance, (I believe it has certain benefits). I have no problem with religion, (on the contrary, I am very interested in all different types of it!) What I have a problem with, is that McCain and Palin don't think that every one of God's creations deserves equal rights, like the gays. I mean, what happened to Jesus loves everyone?
As far as their political theories go, I happen to respectfully disagree. But, that's just my opinion.
Anyway, this is a very cute drawing, and I'm glad you are comfortable enough in your beliefs to express them in public. I know a lot of people who wouldn't do that.

OKAY SO TAXES ARE LIKE INSANE RIGHT NOW. My dad owns a small business and he can't afford our taxes that are now four times as much as they used to be! It's crazy. I hope I don't have to get a job.

Oh, geez, I know, yesterday my mother was freaking out about it. My dad hired someone to do our taxes for the FIRST TIME EVER, and the IRS is saying we owe an additional 2 grand. We can't afford that! And people like your dad with small businesses are going to have a hard time. If Obama raises taxes, then it'll be harder to have employees, so people will have to be fired, and the unemployment rates go up. And it's bad for me, 'cause I DO want a job. I really want to work at a Barnes and Noble or Books-A-Million

I just read that the liberals are going to raise taxes on everything so they can pay for government projects...and those projects are stupid things, like how Argentinean gay men hook up in bars. I'm completely serious. This is what we're paying for with our taxes.

I know! My notebook is decorated with pics of Erik, and when people see it they say, "Who is THAT?!" I tell them it's The Phantom and their minds immediately go to ALW. Poor, unheardof book...

I know! This kid on my bus had never heard of it...which was strange for me. I go to an art school, so EVERYONE'S heard of Phantom. And you're right...we have amazing things! All of the natural scenery is just so amazing. We went up to the Smoky Mountains in NC this summer, and the view of the mountains was just...breathtaking.

I think I prefer this kind of "political art" than the ones where one party is portrayed as being normal and the other as some weird, disfigured, crazy lunatic.
I, too, was a McCain/Palin supporter, and voted Republican. I agreed with most of the positions they took on issues. Sen. Obama's views and ideas were very socialistic -- almost to the point of communism. And now that he is in office, it's just even more blatantly socialist. I guess, I'm just an old-school Regan Republican, and I agree that man cannot be free unless government is limited.
Good job on this, very cute, and it didn't put either party down.
