I should also add that unlike most of the Marvel and D C comics ,right now   I have no clear idea of the direction  this story is going to take

I should also add that General Roberta Strock does belong to A C comics
I would further observe  that General Roberta Strock trusts and has confidence in her colleagues and subordinates and those around her and so has a reasonable expectation of rescue . She is a thought ful and perceptive officer who can recognize and appreciate (and also encourages ) the talents and abilities of others . So if she knew or suspected that it was Ali out there looking for her , her mind would be even more at ease.
Plus she is fearless and courageous 
 And would never give her abductors the satisfaction of seeing her beg
And I suspect  that attitude would extend to her current enforced companion

Oh My.
This exceeds all my expectations
General Strock looks  exactly right . 
In spite of her perilous situation she is not panicking
That is exactly the way I would expect the character to behave
Really liked the accompanying story
I just wish it were longer.
That line about betting " the Grammy I should have won by now "  was a great bit of story construction .It quietly tells the reader that it is Dazzler monitoring the situation and  informs us how well equipped the quin jet and and how skilled a pilot and operator she is to be fallowing the "kidnap plane " and at the same time monitoring the cameras  closely enough to catch sight of  kidnap victims being pitched over board  .
I also thought that particular line was clever and sharp without being flippant or cynical
And I like her  her over-all" internal dialogue "  because demonstrates that she is level headeed  tough minded young Lady who can handle the stress and demands of this situation.
And I am confident that Alison will be able to effect a rescue ,even though that might give "those Creeps" an opportunity to escape.
