As you know this whole thing started with Ali and Sue finding the Black Widow buried alive. She couldn't say why because it involved "classified information."  This led to you possibly doing a crossover story featuring he Widow, General Strock, possibly certain Marvel heroines and possibly FemForce. And you hinted that Strock and Hill do NOT get along in this possible story

This inspired me to do this little scenario. Which you may, or may not, wish to add to your story when and if you do it. Which is one of the reasons I'm keeping the chapters short and sweet. If you choose to do this scenario it would be with your words, your vision and your take on the characters.

Now, as it turns out, I also wrote this bit as seen from General Strock's point of view. Once Night Flight is done I'll print it for you.  I don't know how close I got to the General but hopefully you'll like it. And, as I said, if you do this it will be in your words and your vision anyway.

I'm having surgery done on my shoulder today and it will take a while to recover. So it may be a while before I can come up with new stuff. But Night Flight is already pre-written. It's just a matter of copy and paste when Dan finishes the picture. IF I can copy and paste with one working arm. 

As for Dazzler's skills.  Professor X, her time as a freedom fighter in the Mojoverse, and other factors play a part in how talented this heroine now is.

I am very flattered that an idea of mine ( that Roberta and Maria  do not get along   ) which was sparked by a suggestion from you ( a continuation of the Black Widow  story which included General Strock) inspired  an actual story  by you.
  I want more than ever to do  such a story And with your permission ,I would like to incorporate the unfolding events of this story and the previous  Black Widow story into that story .There is nothing definite yet( though I do have some concepts in mind- I can pass them along if you are interested )  but I am thinking in terms of an FEM Force /Miss America Foundation  cross over / joint adventure (overlaid  with the machinations  of Maris Hill )
And when the time comes to do that story I would like to get your advice and input .
Ideally my vision would conform with your universe.
And I would not mind if the the text for these current stories were longer . I am sure I would have no problem incorperatings the events  and ideas that happen here into my  (  distantly upcoming) story
 Very interested to learn  that you wrote a version of this story from Roberta's POV. Thank you in advance for passing it along when this story is complete . I am very much looking forward to reading your take on my fave character .Given how thought ful and perceptive a writer you are and based on your posted work I am confident the General is in good hands
Commenting on Dazzler's skill set . Yes I agree that the influence of Professor X and her experiences in the Mojoverse  played a role . But I think you must also include her dedication and strength of character and compassion  , and impulse to do the right thing  and to help where ever she could in the mix as well.

I'm glad you like it so far. I am eager to show you Roberta's POV. But to do so now would be a spoiler to this version.

If I recall correctly there is a jungle girl called Tara who grows into a giant.  Right off the bat I can see her and Jan (The Wasp) both being giant sized for some reason. (Fighting each other. Another giant. Or in the process of rescuing civilians. Whatever the case may be.)  You know it might be fun to do a non-related picture featuring  Jan, Tara and DC's Giganta.

And, of course, there is the possibility of a Scarlet Witch/Nightveil pairing.

But I'll leave all that to you.

Yes , I am very keen to read your  ( sure to be excellent ) Roberta's POV for this adventure .But I understand about the "spoiler " aspect  and so will wait ( after all the Good Stuff is well worth waiting for)
Your suggestions for  images  for pairings /hook-ups / encounters  between  various A C / FEM Force characters and the Marvel heroines of your Universe has fired my imagination
I am already  formulting some  ideas and after I refine them I would like to run them past you
But time is short I must head off to work soon .So I will pick this up when I return home  this evening
Finally I hope the surgery was successful and  without complication and painless and that you  recovery is swift.

Thank you. I hope the recovery is swift too.  I'm not 100% sure. But I think the character of Colt is dead. If so that's too bad.  I could see a bit of friendly sharpshooting competition between her and Dazzler.

Actually the character is not actually dead as such
merely retired  Colt  has dropped her heroine  persona and  now works at a desk  for the Gov't  as  Valencia Kirk where she uses  her considerable  expertise and experience as a spy  and secret agent to protect America .
I think it is totally plausible( in your universe) that the character  would put on her uniform again ( for old times sake ) and partake in friendly competition with Ali. Perhaps as part of of a fund raiser exercise with the Miss America foundation  or simply as way to get to know her better ,which could be part of a program to forge closer links between the your Marvel ladies and the the FEM Force Perhaps this idea was a shared concept between Sue Storm  and Joan Wayne and or Roberta Strock
Naturally Maria Hill would view this development with alarm and suspicion and would work against it  .

I think that, in a shared universe, Sue would include any publically known heroines interested in doing charity work.  So if FEM Force is a publically known group they would be as much a part of the MAF as the rest.  Should any of the FEMs be interested.

I also think Maria Hill's problem is that most super heroes and heroines don't work for the government and is therefore not under their control. Despite their good works they aren't officially sanctioned.  So she always has a problem with their "interference" in what she considers SHIELD affairs.

And, this is just me, I think a logical reason for Strock and Hill's conflict is jurisdiction. (Assuming the FF ARE government agents.)  If the FEMs are government agents then perhaps it's the result of one official agency VS another.  You've seen cop shows where the hero cop is always in conflict with a Fed when both become involved in the same case. Same thing with SHIELD and FEM Force.

Or perhaps FEM Force is like the Avengers.  Santioned. But they don't work for the government. In which case Hill would be naturally prejudiced.

As long as the heroines are doing charity work I don't think Hill would care. But if they start messing in "her" turf then watch out.

Thank you for the clarification . I am very keen that my "cross over " stories and images and ideas conform with the rules of your universe
I like the idea that members of the FEM Force would be welcome into the MAF ( Miss America Foundation) In would like to develop this idea further.
Thank you also for your further explanation of the reason /basis  for Ms. Hill's antipathy  to the various heroines . I was toying with the idea  that ,as a super secret spy organization SHIELD had made a few  questionable deals  and made some uncomfortable alliances with corporations and organizations and  and was slipping into the "darkside" Maria Hill was a chief exponent  and instigator of this move. She see it as the the New Reality  and was very defensive about it  She has personally benefited from this new evolving  arrangement  She does not trust those who are not involved  She see the MAF as potential rivals and possibly enemies and behaves accordingly
But I will set this idea aside .
I think your idea of a  jurisdictional dispute as the basis of the conflict  between Roberta and Maria is a good and plausible idea . I would further speculate that difference in management style and back ground and   out look contributes to the conflict ( I could expand on this if you are interested and think it works in your universe ) It also occurs to me that one of the reasons Roberta and Maria are in this fix ( kidnapped ,tied up back to back , tape gagged and now pitched out of a plane as a diversionary tactic ) is that they were so caught up in their bureaucratic squabble  they let their guard down and did not take the proper precautions and left themselves open and vulnerable( I can develop this idea further as well if you think it has merit.
The FEM Force  does work for the Federal Gov't though their role is loosely defined and they are on a long leash
I think you cop show analogy is a good one .
I think our heroines will work very well together . I hope we are able  to carry it off.

They were thrown out of an airplane at night and are plunging towards the ground.  Dazzler is using her powers to home in on them and try to catch up to them before they hit.
