Headquarters of the All-Winners Squad, October 31, 1949, 12:23 PM:They never saw them coming. But suddenly two women in skintight blue just appeared out of thin air.
Before the victims were even aware of their presence the intruders grabbed them from behind. Acting quickly they chloroformed the Blonde Phantom and Sun Girl.
With the last active costumed heroines of a bygone era now out of the way, the Invisible Woman and Dazzler were free to pursue the next step of their plan.

This truly a WTF image
You look at it and you are totally knocked off base at what you are seeing
Two Good Girls / modern day super heroines ( Ali and Sue) have ambushed and are chloroforming two Golden Age heroines The text seems to confirm time travel so we know it likely really is Alison and Susan , up there taking down Mary and Louise , though we are not sure why
Could they ( Invisible Woman and Dazzler ) be clones or robots or drugged or under hypnosis
Have they been sent back to harvest / collect the Classic heroines
The text speaks of the two modern day heroines having a plan which can now proceed now that the " last two costumed heroines of a begone era are out of the way " But we do not know what plan is
The dismay and distress- as evidenced by their facial expressions- of Sun Girl and the Blonde Phantom as they are caught totally by surprise by the chloro attack contrast with looks of satisfaction and "easy does it " on the faces of their assailants
I note Sue and Ali are very skillfully and efficiently restraining Louise and Mary ( no second thoughts or unease at what they are doing )
All the characters look just right in every detail and I note the excellent "set decoration " for the scent - the rotary phone, the safe, the wooden desk
An excellent if some what disconcerting image
