Well, you know I love your photography. So can I comment on something superficial? That is the hair in these latest shots. I obviously don't know of this salon, but fuckitall, I love the work! Everyone's hair looks AMAZING!

well i did, actually. i have free cut and color for life. it was just that he dropped off the face of the earth for a few days. i guess he was having an off week. anyway, i got it done yesterday and its WILD.

Another fabu location, and wonderful model. Hair rocks, lighting rocks, great photo.
BUUUUTTTT, gotta rain on it a wee bit. Two things I notice w/o even seeing the model: his butt poking out and the ADT sign in the window. THey kinda detract to me. The ADT sign especially, not so sure why his butt takes away from the shot, but it does.
Otherwise, great shot again.

thanks, man. the butt was definitely an issue when looking through these, and this was the best of them. as far as the ADT sign is concerened, i'm sure thats an error that could easily be remedied.

I thought it might be. I feel like such a POS. I keep seeing all your great photos, and here I am picking nits about them. I hope you don't mind, I really do hope that. BTW, if you feel as though you want to say "THIS SUCKS!" to one of my photos... well, say it, but be nicer than that please. My fragile ego might not handle it so well. :-P Let's see... what else. Yes, ADT sign easily removed. I hate when I get back and notice things I never saw while taking the photo. It's like I get so caught up in the face & focus and everything else... I forget to LOOK at the PHOTO I'm taking. *sigh* O'well.. back to bed.

true, true. i don't worry too much about my composition, though. it really takes care of itself. what i spend the most time with is making sure my clients are active and alive, constantly moving, being real. i dunno. i'm not a technical photographer at all. i shoot by feeling.
