PLEASE FULL VIEW!!Very similar to D.R.7, but I couldn't decide between the two. This place is SICK! It'll be gone soon, though.. Just like EVERY place I shoot. I'm such a scavenger. This is Dan again. Gimme some comments..

The placement of the model is perfect - i love the way he is leaning in his chair and how he take up more than 2/3 of the image. the side lighting is perfect, creating very masculine shadows on his face. I like the highlight on his chin and knee.

Thank you. But as much as I progress, there's still a TON to learn. Thats why, for maybe the first time EVER, I bought some photography books that can teach me different ways of doing things better. These were on understanding lighting, and selling your photographs. i'm really excited to read them. in fact, i think i'm going to start right NOW.

No. Its unintentional. I wasn't shooting a cross. Those are two pieces of metal that are just like that in the photo! You're the second person to mention that!

Cool. Probably a good idea. That way you really experience the full spectrum of critiquing. I love that dA is basically a big classroom for open discussion on art. Its like getting the advantages of the class and their critiques, but without paying all the cash. What a deal!

I think it'd be rad to have a section of dA where a different artist could be featured every day, and you could put your name on a list to have a discussion board that day with you as the artist featured. THAT would be awesome.

I dont really know why - no thats a lie, i know why
it could be his face AND you see more stuff around him, i like that a lot.
Also the way he is sitting and his legs.
The chair has its one story i guess.
You also may believe he could fall right on his or in your face with this creepy chair.
(Simply holding your hand or a paper downways his knees and he is on his way down to the ground or your arms - only a little
guidance to my thoughts..

two things that really have nothing to do with this picutre.
one)the cross in the background is kinda creepy.
two) why is he so dirty?

The cross isn't really a cross. Its just two intersecting pieces of metal that took that form. The dirt was for fun.. mainly because he WOULD do it. A lot of that kind of stuff I do just to humor myself and watch my clients trash themselves. Hehehehe.. I abuse my powers from time to time..

that isn't a cross it is an old sprinkler in case of a fire, ohhh an he is dirty cause they wanted him to be. i think entire shoot is pretty fricken wicked
