This has been one of my favorite cards for a long time, and surely one of my favorite arts. I love the cross of the folklore creature shifted perfectly into Shadowmoor's world. I am very glad I've found this piece, so I can thank you for one of my favorite images in all of Magic the Gathering.

hahah this card is too funny, cause a friend of mine who plays a lot of magic with me, was called "redcap" by our friends.

Huh. "The Box" is so small in dimension that I'd always thought his ear was the corner of a really distorted grin.
I love this pic either way, though. Your works with zanier proportions have always been my faves.

This has always been one of my all-time favorite cards where the artwork is concerned. It's just so bloody perfect, it was one of the first cards I showed my wife when i got into Magic and said "see look! The artwork for these cards are great!"
Incredible that you would be on DeviantArt It kind of made my day.

Ah, murderous redcap! A fine and useful card, with a grotesquely cute figure on the front. I nicknamed the little guy Sneebs, because, well, he looks like a Sneebs (much more than a Thomas or a Jesse, anyhow).
The albinistic traits really help to mmake this little guy unsettling, plus the fact that his mouth is covered helps to make him look more and more like a giant head with limbs attached, enhancing the oddity of the creature. the detail of the background is an especially nice touch. I like the drop of blood on the log, in particular.

Yay! Redcap. Really impressive work.
the goblin is looking innocently but holding that blood stained knife in his hands...reminds me of a tonberry from Final Fantasy. redcap is a really scary assassin I have to say.

I really like this one. The goblin is so cute and I'm not a really big fan of goblins. Great work, keep it up.
