Description
"YES, IT"S FROM THE MOVIE EVERYONE"!!!!Foam latex suit pieces sculpted for the "Rinzler" character.Worked with friend Steve Kotch on this suit sculpt.
Doing hard surface-very symmetrical sculpting on a not so symmetrical body form was quite a challenge.

Huh..that's different. I've created the foam rubber armor portion of the suit and I'm planning out the best way of entry and exit now.

Absolutely incredible, dude. Like others have said, great ref for artists and cosplayers.
I always found it interesting how little circuitry 'Tronzler''s design has. Especially when compared to Tron's original '82 outfit. I understand it's to fit in with the style of the new movie, but even then it's fairly sparse. I wonder if it's meant to symbolize something? Perhaps he is more like a User himself, than he thinks.

Thank you so much for posting your behind the scenes pictures of the actual movie costumes. For cosplayers, as myself, and for the ones that like to recreate costumes accurately, this helps us TREMENDOUSLY!
Very inspiring your work and I can only dream at this point in my life to get paid to do what you do for a living. For now, it is a mere hobby for me.... for the past 15 years

First, I would like to apologize for all the comments from individuals who don't seem to read.
Secondly, I'm wondering, how was it to see it in the finish product of the movie? I imagine, with all the detail (which is just amazing and fabulous, I discover new things to the suit every time I draw it.) and time you put into it, it was an incredible sight.

Well for one, if you get a link from someone on tumblr who claims its a bad-ass cosplay, I'd call it 'mislead.' That and even with reading the artist's description, it can still come off as just that xD I've read countless cosplayer's artists comments that sound just like what he wrote.
However, wow, know that it's one of the actual suit sculptors accounts, then EXTRA kudos. As well, how often does the costuming creation department get praise for what we marvel at in films?!
