In my imagination she's under wavy water and lit by the light ripples beaming through. It's lovely.

It's a very pretty effect. I must play with it more.
Thanks,

Looks like a dreamy painting, if that makes sense.

It makes more sense than I usually do when I'm trying to set these shots up

Thanks. The light is courtesy of my slightly broken flashlight

The mixture of your light painting plus infrared gives this picture a water texture.

I think if I really tried to shoot underwater, the models would drown

Probably. My camera just isn't waterproof...

You could do a really neat ice queen with that. when I get my d2x I'm so ripping the highpass filter off

I can just see you at your kitchen table with a screwdriver and a Stanley knife. It'll all end in tears you know

Just found out there is a company in the UK doing IR conversions. Given long enough I might even be able to remember their name...

Well, it's not as much fun, but you do get a working camera at the end...

Very interesting effect from the torch light and IR. The texture in the material has come out very well, sort of porcelain like (to me anyway)

Yea, I wish I had spent more time on it now, but it was one of those end-of-the-shoot things so time ran out on me.

Without faffing about and blunders, I wouldn't have a gallery

I didn't say I don't faff about - just that it needs to be seriously curtailed if I'm ever going to get anything finished
