After her stint as Alice [link] Ruby [link] wanted to be a puppet. I found a nice little paper puppet theatre in an online puppet emporium and we spent a little time in the studio. This was the result, with Ruby as both puppet and scary puppeteer.Dave

Thanks. I'm having a lot of fun with these 'little model' shots, and have a few more in the works. Just off to Forbidden Planet to try and track down a background element for one of them.

I am so obscenely behind on deviation views right now it's just heartbreaking - 483 to go as of this post, not counting journals. I've been trying to catch up in between the purge-n-pack of the house, but I'm going to be straggling for a while. Bear with me!

It's only gotten worse - I feel like I'm trying to dig my way out of a quicksand pit.
I'm almost to the point where I'll just have to purge the queue rather than try to sift through everything - even with thumbnails it's several pages and as I'm still on a dinky dial-up connection that's no small task. But that's a last resort. I'll likely just have to set a day aside to surf, because with so many terrific deviations posted recently it would be a damned shame to miss that because I was feeling overwhelmed by the backlog.

Thanks Susan, I'm pretty pleased with the way this one has turned out. I even broke one of my own cardinal rules and allowed converging vertical to creep in here - somehow it seemed to need it for the sense of scale to work properly. Still, rules are made to be broken...

Amazing Photo. I saw your lightpainting stuff. Awesome. Please look at some of mine. Mine's nothing compared to yours of course but they're my babies. Please give me your comments. I just started photography. I never knew about lightpainting but I started to play with LEDs I can find around me. Please take a look and give me some comments. I'll appreciate it.

Strangely, I was going to use myself as the puppet master, but decided it would be better to have Ruby puppeting herself. So I guess that makes me the sinister force behind the puppet master...
