I do not really know. I only know that one-nacelled starships are called scouts, two-nacelled ones are called cruisers and three-nacelled ones are called dreadnoughts...

there was also the one-nacelled Destroyers, they looked identical to the Scouts, but were more heavily armed.

Well, Captain Janeway is fucked up, because unlike the Voyager crew, Kirk wasn't rummaging around in some nebula in every single episode. He was off doing, like, IMPORTANT things.

Well, the starfleet term would be Ventral (underside) where as Dorsal is above (think dorsal fin on a shark or dolphin), so the Romulan ship is starboard, ventral side.
