Description
In a weird moment, I decided to build the bridge of the Polaris. It's my most complex model yet, consisting of more than nine hundred parts. As you can see, the bridge is more similar to the Pike are bridge than the Kirk era one. Don't forget that the Polaris is an old ship, built decades before the Enterprise.
Every station is fully utilitarian, nothing is configured for an overall specific function. Don't forget, a battleship might get a blown-up console or two.
I based the colour schemes and the shape of some objects on the episode "The Cage".

Good work. I've noticed that the captain's chair is the only station with one of the little viewers. I may have to check to see if this changed between the Pike era bridge and the Kirk era bridge, but I do remember every station had one.

Thank you!
I wanted the bridge to have only one viewer, because all the small screens on the stations can be configured to display any type of info screen, that is, not just the blinkies. But the Captain needs a screen of his own, so hence the gooseneck viewer.

A Captain Metlesits without his Knight Rider is like MTV without Will Smith

Whoa, a whole series of views on an original bridge design. Very, very awesome!

I see the captain's watching Knight Rider on his snake lamp screen.
Always wondered why the only person we've ever seen (before Enterprise) that acknowledges 20th century entertainment is Tom Paris on Voyager, and he gets half his $#!t WRONG (to occasionally comedic effect).
Would've loved to see Kirk, Spock, and Bones watching Home Improvement (the old Tim Allen sitcom).
Kirk: Would you care to give me a hand with this Spock?
Spock: I don't think so Jim.
Or Bones winning a bet and forcing Spock to watch Beakman's World or Bill Nye the Science Guy.

Pike's quarters in The Cage included a TV.

We think it was a TV, it could've been a massive tri-viewer (like the one on the briefing room table) that he using to spy on the ship through the security sensors. What parts of the ship, who knows

Or a couple of crew members goin' at it in one of the jeffries tubes when they thought no one was looking.
*Muffled sounds*, Scotty frowns and looks for the source. The jeffries tube. He looks up sees what appears to be two crew members engaged in sexual activities.
Scotty *annoyed*: Is there something the matter with your quarters?!

Man, how do you do it? It's simply amazing, even as a first version. I wish I could do stuff like this. Ever consider learning how to mod for STridge Commander? I'm sure the Kobyashi Maru team would love to have a graphics designer like you.

I did this with looking at my floor plans and console drawings and then spent hours getting every switch to its place.
The problem with modding is that I do everything with a large amount of polies. This bridge is 390000-ish polygons, that's thousands of game models together.

Polygons are the building blocks of a 3D model, essentially 3D pixels.

Ok, it makes a little more sense now. So, everything's super-high resolution?

Not super-high, but high for game models.

Well done. The Knight Rider shot is a nice touch.
What is the station with the monitor jutting out (under the map of the Alpha Quadrant)?

Thank you!
Well, Captain Metlesits always takes the time to watch Knight Rider
The station is the library computer station (used to be an ad hoc science station before the arrival of Ensign Ainsworth and her "real" science equipment and the dedicated console).
