She isn't the most beoutiful thing in the world, but she has lots of battles behind her. She is a dedicated battlecruiser.
The balck thing on the bridge dome... nobody knows. It was there on the Pilot version of the Enterprise, so it is there on mine, too.

Maybe its the viewscreen polarised. Effects budgets not to mention tunable LCDs and TFT didn't exactlty exist when the pilot was made.

For the TOS designs, I usually use unused concepts (Phase II, Jeffries' original designs, Franz Joseph's stuff, etc.).
As for the crew: I wanted Summer Glau in my crew. I have a huge crush on her (but I wasn't an asshole and her character Charlotte Ainsworth and Captain Metlesits have nothing except for military respect and honor). Vasya Nussbaum is, in a way, based upon my best friend, who is, actually, a girl. She keeps me on the field of rationality as much as Vasya does with Captain Metlesits.
JΓΌrgen Vogel... he's my favourite actor, I couldn't leave him out of my crew.
