You are using some kind of brushes for leafs? Can i get them somewhere?

What software are you using? This was made with painter12. I made the leaves from a combination of a custom brush I createdΒ (captured dab) and individual brush strokes.

I don't use PS myself but I know you can create custom brushes. Look for 'captured dab' and this should help you make a brush for drawing leaves....

I'll bet. Working from life...for me, it's too much like practice! But you're right. It's very good for strengthening your skills. I used to paint watercolor landscapes long ago. It would be fun to try now in the digital medium.Β

Usually I try not to use any references but I used a reference for all three of the Green forests.Β
I'm starting the next three soon, autumn will be the next theme.
