The best thanks is that people get something out of the tutorials. Wings is a great tool, I really enjoy using it and for me making videos is a good way to remember things.

Looks great, have not done a wings tut in awhile, looking forward to it.
Thanks David

Thanks! Will only take you five minutes if that! Unlike the three hours it took for me to figure out how to make the shape, record the video, edit it, annotate it and upload it. So that's a pretty good deal.

You are most welcome, and I appreciate the time you put in on these tuts and I mean that most sincerely.

Great approach to a favorite shape
I used to subtract a mesh from Mr. Sequin's Sculpture Generator from a Torus in Blender.

I'd not seen this shape before watching the Numberphile video. It's a pleasing one. I put a link on the video I saw it in. Don't know if it will coax anyone to look, but it's worth a shot.

Some jears ago I saw the shape in the collection of Torolf Sauermann (Jotero). Later found hints to Keizo Ushio. My self just stumbled into these shapes when experimenting with subtracting complex shapes from simple ones.
Both videos are well worth a recommendation - thanks sharing your great tutorials!

Thanks for the positive feedback! Funny I'm starting to get a few comments now on my youtube saying don't use Bryce/wings for this or that use Blender and then asking me to do Blender tutorials. Some people are never happy. It's funny. But also a bit irksome.

I like Bryce as much as I like Blender. Bryce is a dino, development seems to have stopped and it's probably because too few people bought it - actually I used a free PLE too when I was on Windows and up to Mac Snow Leo.
It's amazing what you made using Bryce - none of their promotions (that I saw) showed these professional effects that we can see in your renders (clouds, caustics, shaders). Also Wings seems a bit old to me too and it seems you've brought it back to life here! I'd love to have had such great tutorials while I was actively playing with 3D meshes.
These are just random thoughts but maybe you should see the Blender requests just as a compliment, that your tutorials are amazing - plus that many people are somewhat lost in Blender.
However there are tons of Blender tutorials. Don't want to push you in any direction, but I love, respect, admire that your work opens some doors to non-mainstream apps.
Thank you!

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Well, I've been busy trying to learn some new skills. As well as keep on progressing my existing ones. I've learned more Wings3D with an aim to making some small commercial models. Had about two weeks solid of UVmapping hell before finally biting the bullet and getting UVlayout (weird interface but very good program for untangling the UV from complex geometries). And then, horror of horror's Poser (version 10), to handle the rigging. Not that I am doing anything fancy, just a few rotations and translations. I've sent my results off for review and in the mean time I'm running a demo of Modo to see if that's the kind of direction I'd like to go in if I can raise the funds. Yeah Bryce is getting long in the tooth, but I guess I've already chosen my render solution in the form of Octane. There's no renders I like better. Time and again, Octane wins. For me, it just has the magical light. So expect more Wings tutorials while I save up for something with a smoother workflow! And the Bryce questions continue to come in, in spite of the dino status, it is surprising. I guess maybe, it's just because it is fun to use. And people like me, we are slow to adapt.

Thank you! Octane more than me I must confess.
