Wow Thanks for the Positive vibes on all that you gave props on dude-Grrrreat to hear from ya! I think the main comp I use is always so your eye goes in a circle around the piece--and then just keep adding stuff like pieces of a puzzle while sticking to that rule maybe. Sometimes the comp is a big X--with the main subject being in the middle of the x..most of the classical painters used that X rule and theyve theorized that its holy and a visual way of achieving enlightenment -for real!

This is packed with great composition and unexpected juxtapositions; I fear I'm missing some of the references or the links between them, but I can still feel the awesome.
The bottom half seems to split away from the top half compositionally - the backs of heads, shapes, and darker tones work against leading lines toward the top... that's the only frustration I've encountered while navigating this though.
