Thanks. I've been using Speedball Super Black India Ink for a while now. I used to love the old FW acrylic artist ink, but they changed the formula, and now it's more like a grey swill than black.

I always mess up that sort of angle. The trapeze muscle are well done here.
Do you use photos as reference ? Or you have just a realy good memory ?

I use reference when I need to, e.g. if it is a weird angle that I just can't get right, or I'm drawing something I'm unfamiliar with, or sometimes just to jog my memory. I didn't use any reference on this piece though.

Really sold, I didn't think anyone brought images anymore since they just look and don't care.

look what i did without inking. It goes from pencil without inking to final. Its a new leap in innovation, drawing.

I could colour it for free too.
If you see the buyer online, you could maybe ask him, I won't be putting up the hi-res for this piece.

yeah made a mistake. I meant professionally color it but it not your picture so forget it.

Well actually it is my image, even though I have sold the physical piece, but as I said I won't be putting it up for colouring.
I must say though the way you asked me for the hi-res implies that you would somehow be doing me a favour, by colouring it for "free" and saying "it will look professional". Maybe you were not aware, but I am a professional illustrator who pencils, inks, and colours, so you wouldn't be doing me any favours by offering your colouring services, and asking me in that way is probably going to deter me from giving you a hi-res copy, if I was even considering it in the first place.
If you wanted to colour the piece for samples in your portfolio, or even if it was just for your own fun you should just come out and say so. I have a couple of hi-res piece in my gallery for colouring samples, if that is what you were after.
On the other hand if you wanted a hi-res copy of the image to print out and stick on your wall, well next time I offer it for sale you might consider buying it, but somehow with comments like this: "Really sold, I didn't think anyone brought images anymore since they just look and don't care", I would say you don't see much value in owning original art.

Awesome stuff! I've been trying to find some decent manga boards out there. Do you do your sequential stuff on them, too?

Thanks.
I use the boards Marvel sends me for my sequential stuff. I like using Strathmore Bristol boards for my commissions too, but it has been a bit hard to find them in larger sizes over here in Australia, so I decided to try these Canson illustration boards, and love them. I don't know if they are available in the USA though; I think Canson's "Fanboy" line of comics boards is all you have over there, which isn't as good.
