At last! I draw a fanart of a favorite game of mine. Portal.
And drawing an Aperture Science Handheld Portal Device is very fun!
I want the real size one! But $250 for a replica is too much...

This drawing is actually for #Genshiken-ITB 's Drawing Challenge.
You may draw anything, but colors is capped to just 3. Yes. 3.
Three colors including background, no monochromatic colors, and have a minimum of 2 hues.
So.. no gradients, glowing or blur effect, and smudging.

And the solution? Dithering!
Yes!! Dithering is the magic creating gradients with minimum colors.

Although experimenting on casting shades using dithering in GIMP is pain in the ass, I enjoy it and kinda satisfied with the result.

Colors used:
#FFFCCD (That White)
#400078 (That Purple)
#F6B641 (That Orange)

Time taken: 6 hours.
