I know you made this a long time ago but i needs help please! I everything looked great till the supernova step. The supernova is blocking my color but then when i mutiply it the color blocks the supernova and it doesn't show up...What can i do please?

Hmm.. wait, what layer do you set to multiply? the eye color, or the supernova?

the supernova and as soon as i multiply it, it dissapears behind the color

Can you post a screenshot? So I can see it?
Or, Try other mode, like dodge. Make sure the supernova layer is upper the eye color layer..

nevermind for some reason i got it to work with a different color. My eyes were red but it wasn't working and so i started over with the color blue and it worked with that...i guess it don't like red >.< Thanks for the help though! I really like this technique now =]

yep.. im doing a giant eye using your tutorial now, I used your tutorial for one last night and the eyes that I got from your tutorial are the only things that worked out.. Have any skin ones? or hair? or clothing?

You need a clean and crisp eye to do that.
I have prepared a tutorial about coloring (skin, hair, cloth, etc.)
But, I'm afraid not in the near future because it was a long and complicated one..

I recommend you to look for another coloring tutorial.
But if you still want mine, I'll finish it ASAP. Depends on situation, it may be more than 2-3 weeks. I'm very busy.

Easy, after you select with fuzzy select (don't deselect), there are a drop down menu on the upper-left-corner of the screen. At the right of the [Edit] and left of the [View], there is the [Select] menu. Click it an look for [Shrink] below the [Sharpen].

You can easily access from the keyboard by pressing Alt + S, then Alt + h.

How to deselect/Select None: Ctrl + Shift + A
Deselecting ellipse tools is same as deselecting other selection tool.

It works some times but not others. Ehh it's probably just me screwing it up some of the times. Thank you soooo much for dealing with me and my big newbishnesses. I just got Gimp last week so I'm still SUPER new at using it XDXD
