It's pretty scary when you can claim ownership to a fan character for a decade -- and that's just on the internet! To one of the oldest, most recognizable, stolen, rehashed, loved, hated, immitated but never duplicated Sonic fancharacters; My favorite alter-ego. Happy 10 years, Rubes.

Incredible as how Ruby has achieved her many looks over the years. This is what makes art so exciting when you look back at old characters and remember what they looked like back than and how they do now.

10 years of the wonderful character that is Ruby. Congrats sugah, that's one milestone down and many more to come
And it's a look at the evolution of your character and your art style over a ten year period, which is also an awesome trip down memory lane for me. I remember seeing you waaaaaay back when Artie P still had that fancharacter directory going ;]

I actually like how she was drawn in '03 a lot, because it's a more realistic physique, but these arent realistic characters, so the '06 version fits better.
Amazing how much your art has completely and utterly changed since, what, 14-15 years of age? Makes me think with a little more effort and work my art could look better.

Speaking of female echidnas o_O and that blue jacket! Do you know the name of the one female echidna back in the knuckles series, she had a blue coat on too XD and her dreds were wrapped up on top of her head. I think she was one of the scientists OvO with Edmond and Demitri. Do you remember her? XD I just called her Amy XP since all I saw of her was a small sketch in the BG of one of the opening note things.

I want Metal Ruby! LOL! Yes she's changed greatly, even giving Sally her jacket and boots back I see. Heh she even sported Remmington's look to. A great collage Dawn I look forward to her and the Chaotix having more adventures.
