This is gorgeous. I love the palette, the soft tones, you really did her justice. Perhaps one day I'll be able to commission one of my dog, and I think this style would absolutely do justice to my friend's deceased dog Zero (rachellaurenphotography.com). :3

It's based off a photo I took of her last Christmas, I gave it a new background and added the scarf.

This came out great! I love the addition of the trees on the left. It really helps balance out the composition. The detail work in Honey is very nice in this one! You're improving in your realistic painting =]

Oh I love the way this was done! Beautiful color scheme and wonderful work with that background. Really like the way you painted the fur and showed some musculature in there. Such a pretty dog <3

Thank you. I took a photo of my dog at my parent's during winter and added a vintage filter over it. I love the photo to bits but hated the background so I painted it here and gave it a better one. I kept the vintage color scheme though, as I just loved it so much. I'm glad to hear others are as well.
