† Click it, click it! †I haven't decided whether or not to leave this piece as it is, but most probably making it a full coloured piece.
Done for LJ Fringeart's Imitation of a Famous Artwork Challenge. .
I know Art Nouveau is terribly popular, but I'm most comfortable with stylised lines as compared to my favorite artist, Da Vinci; which is impossible for me to imitate due to my horrendous skills at canvas.
So I decided to pick Alphonse Mucha's Rodo.The gleaming motifs are based on my silver-plated flower pendant, in this case I changed the flower to monkshood. Besides being a cool reminder of my favorite professor, the flower's meaning is also 'beware' and symbolises difficulty in being physically close to others. Sounds like someone we know?

It's always good to see art influenced by Mucha.
I like the composition, and the font is perfect. I'm impressed with the graceful, flowing lines of it. Very pretty.
