aha, B17 isnt it. Non-streamlined. Also, may I ask about the absence of steamdome? Did these engines have domeless throttles like the South African 15E?

what a beautiful locomotive, the ONLY minor crit I have is that there seems to be no pilot truck support or pivot saddle of any kind securing it to the engine itself.
I take it she is an LNER B-something.

yes you are right, the missing support is in the copy paste recolour and re-brand, however the steam dome is a clanger!, LOL gives me some editing to do now !!!
Plus you are right with the class, the original issue was [link] for the streamlined versions [link] , they were drawn from plans too, thanks for your observance, I'll have to get you to do a proofing session on the next I am producing.

Excellent! And I am flattered. Oddly enough, living in america, my love of trains started with watching international documentaries, and although I do not pick favorites and find joy in the steam of every nation, I started with the British locomotives and formed an odd bond with them.

I to the same as you, spirit lies in steam and much admiration for other countries there by lies, however, it does not end there, as loco's run on railway systems, which have stations, yards, equipment and on, so to understand all in context is far easier where you live, all is within reach, understandable geography and purpose is therefore within context and environment, thus understanding is so much simplified. However, as I said I will probably get you to 'copyread' a proof of my next works, as I have strayed, into what will probably be the biggest mine field ever, for all the lack of knowledge mentioned previously, I am working on a locomotive from another country!

Heheh, cheers! If I can find a suitable donor loco and some nameplates I might try and model it some day.
