So I haven't done a meme in a blue moon but I decided to give this a try since I've been meaning to anyway. Now, these are simply my opinions. So kindly refrain from getting mad about what I have written down and try to find some common ground here, okay?

Miraculous Ladybug Ship Meme

OTP : Adrien Agreste and Marinette Dupain Cheng

Yes, it may seem like a cliche choice because of the fact they’re the lead boy and lead girl (in fairness I sometimes do ship main boy and main girl together), and not to mention the rabid fanbase that annoys even me. But I can’t help it. Two cinnamon rolls who have an interesting dynamic both as superheroes and as civilians. It has potential to develop into something sweeter. The only problems are Marinette’s jealousy issues at times and Adrien’s cluelessness, then again one can argue that’s more from his upbringing, but oh well, here’s to hoping season three helps these two develop past that!

Most Liked Pairing : Juleka Couffaine and Rose Lavillant

“I don’t ship it…I swear I don’t…just because they’re close doesn’t mean they’re crushing on each other…come on, Genesis, don’t do this to yourself…they’re only friends…Just good frie-” (sees Frightangle and Zombizou) “Oh shit! I DO ship it!” And that’s the process of how I got into this pair. But all jokes aside, just a sweet ship between two good friends. They’re so helpful and caring for each other. There’s no drama between them. Adrien and Marinette, take notes Also to still take in the fact Rose was crushing on that prince, I totally headcanon her as bisexual so it can still work.

Most Neutral Pairing : Adrien Agreste and Kagami Tsuguri

Honestly, I don’t feel anything too strong for the ship. I mean the fanart is cute but I still don’t get a rise, good or bad, from it. Though I think the rabid hatedom, from rabid Adrienette fans, ticked me off into not hating the pair. then again though, who knows? Maybe some episodes will happen that may break, or make the pair for me…or maybe still keep it at a neutral stance.

Most Disliked Pairing : Marinette Dupain-Cheng and Chloé Bourgeois

I can understand the appeal, foe yay can make interesting dynamics. Hell, for crud’s sake, I ship Bloom and Diaspro from the Winx Club franchise even though their interactions are never positive, so I’m in NO position to criticize people who like foe yay. However, even with that factor aside, I just can’t see the two in a romantic relationship even with the character development that Chloé will be set to have hopefully. Even if/when Chloé redeems herself, I just can’t see Marinette falling for her like that. Maybe a casual friendship or acquaintances, but not a romantic relationship.

NOTP : Gabriel Agreste/Hawkmoth and Marinette Dupain-Cheng/Ladybug

Okay, you know what?! I’m not even going to justify this like with Chloé/Marinette! It’s fucking self-explanatory! It’s…disgusting!

Fluffy Pairing : Luka Couffaine and Marinette Dupain-Cheng

Hey, just because I ship Adrien/Marinette as my OTP for Marinette doesn’t mean I can’t dabble in other ships~ But anywho, Luka is just so sweet to Marinette for me not to like this ship. It’d be interesting to see how these two as a ship would be. I can only imagine the two as just two cinnamon rolls kicking back and relaxing, not a care in the world at all.

Sexy Pairing : Chat Noir and Marinette Dupain-Cheng

In fairness this will only apply WHEN they’re of legal age. But I can see a dom/sub role for Chat Noir and Marinette. I’ll just leave it at that since like I said, I can only imagine this when they’re older.

Guilty Pleasure Pairing : Nathaniel Kurtzberg and Marc Anciel

Damn it, another pair of friends that I ship! Why do I keep doing this to myself?! But yeah, after the introduction of Marc Anciel, I have to say, I have a huge soft spot for this ship. Sure, it may seem like a typical ship them because they’re friends, but honestly, I think they can both compliment each other in both an artistic light as well as a romantic light. So we’ll just have to see I guess~

BROTP : Nino Lahiffe and Adrien Agreste

Everyone tends to gush about Ayla and Marinette’s friendship, and while that one’s also sweet, I decided to give credit to another pair like this. Like seriously, Nino is totally the team dad of the group , he’s always looking out for others, heck the whole reason he got akumatized was because he was angry that Adrien wasn’t getting any love from Gabriel in his own birthday. So yeah, let’s give props to this friendship.

Just Friends : Adrien Agreste and Chloé Bourgeois

This is kind of similar to the whole Marientte and Chloé deal I mentioned earlier, but this one’s a tad better since she actually outwardly respects him. However, I can’t see them in a romantic relationship even if/when Chloé gets character development. So I think a friendship will suit them just fine.

Overrated Pairing : The Love Square

Yes, as much as I love The Love Square, I really, really don’t like the rabid fans bashing other characters who are wrongly accused of getting in the way of the ship when one, Adrien and Marinette aren’t even dating yet and two, the creator himself made it clear that we should try to give the characters of Luka and Kagami a chance instead of seeing them as just rivals. Will you fans please eat a Snickers?

Underrated Pairing : Ivan Bruel and Mylène Haprèle

This pair is actually my second favorite ship in the Miraculous Ladybug series. How can anyone not love these two? From how Mylène brings out this softer side to Ivan to how Ivan is so willing to protect Mylène from the insults of the likes of Chloé just makes me smile. Here’s to hoping these cuties last~
